I've known this bistro since the late '90s, but I hadn't been there in 25 years. I found the place renovated inside. The menu is the same as I remembered, but they've expanded the baked potato selection. We only went for the baked potatoes, and they didn't disappoint. We didn't really like the guacamole as an appetizer because of the cumin. The Aztec potato with chicken on top was cold, and this created too much of a contrast with the very hot potato. Overall, it was a great experience.

A rare find in Rome's culinary landscape. This restaurant near Via del Vignola has a unique feature: boiled potatoes split in half and stuffed with everything, which are delicious. The uniqueness of this culinary offering is interesting and very healthy. The service is excellent, and the place, without too many frills, seems very matriarchal in my opinion. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, always fresh products, but above all, incredibly kind and friendly staff: the guys at Vero know how to start your day with a smile! It's truly a shame that such a popular place is closing.
