Whenever I ride up the Stelvio Pass, stopping at Ristorante Tibet is non-negotiable. The location is unbeatable – right at the top with that incredible panoramic view over the hairpins and the valley below. Lunch with that scenery in front of you is priceless.The staff are always friendly and attentive, they make you feel welcome even when it’s busy. The food is really good too – hearty mountain dishes done properly, fresh and tasty. It’s the perfect reward after the climb. Highly recommend – don’t miss it!"

An overnight stay is a wonderful experience. Right beneath a glacier with a phenomenal view. The rooms are excellent. The food is superb.
It's physically demanding at high altitude, but definitely worth it. We were there in the summer on our way home from the Dolomites. It's a beautiful route (by car).

We were here in first week of October. It.was.awesome. Spaghetti and pizzoccheri for lunch followed by strudel and coffee. Best view ever. Snow on the mountains. Wonderful staff. We were in (metaphorical) heaven. Couldnt fault it. Highly recommended.

I went to the Tibet Hütte Alpine Refuge with friends and had a wonderful lunch! The struffoli were truly delicious and the view was simply spectacular. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the mountain views. A fantastic place that I absolutely recommend!

Really enjoyed our few stops here. Once for coffee before down then up of stelvio poss, then lunch. Eggs, roast potato and bacon. Loved it.
Plus there is a car charger, the highest in Europe

Yes! Great bar/restaurant with an incredible view of the pass road. We sat here for two hours, enjoying the view and a few drinks in the perfect weather. An absolute highlight!

I would say this is the best Austrian food we have had till date!
The atmosphere in the restaurant is extremely positive, service is super fast, wiaters are polite and helpful and the food is mind-blowing good.
Can highly recommend this restaurant.

The hospitality of the Thoma family and the staff at the Tibet Hut is simply unique! We went there three years ago because of a childhood memory and have spent a long weekend there every year since then.
Service is first-class, the food is always a delight (be sure to book half board and be surprised), and the house is not only visually unique but also a personal delight. And you get the best view of the pass!
