I was a little apprehensive after reading the Google reviews, but thankfully I decided to give this wonderful place a chance. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent, and they are very organized with the ingredients. The view is unbeatable (for those who complain about the ruins between the bar and the coliseum, you're looking at what remains of the largest gladiator training center; don't let the desire to see something "aesthetic" fool you). The service was always attentive. I don't know much about cocktails, so I simply told the waiter what kind of drinks I liked, and he very kindly recommended some that were fantastic. It's not a cheap place, but it's absolutely worth it if you want a quality experience on your trip. P.S.: Reservations are essential.

Visited February 2025, booked last minute. This is not a roof top bar, however a small ground level bar with a beautiful view. I didn’t know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The price is approximately $28 per drink but we visited during aperitivo and were served a wonderful birdcage with delicious bites. My hubby found wonderful primitivo wine we had not found otherwise. We enjoyed the atmosphere and often reflect on our spontaneous aperitivo in front of the Colosseum. The service was wonderful and attentive, it rounded out our vacation goal of aperitivo at each of the famous sights. I highly recommend the splurge as we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

My girlfriend had booked this bar for our last night in Rome. We love the history here so drinks with a night view of the Colosseum seemed like the best way to wrap up our trip. We arrived for our reservation to find out that our shoes were not appropriate for the establishment. At first we were a little upset, but the manager personally apologized for the inconvenience and offered to waive the cancellation fee. Seeing as it was our last night and we had no other plans, we decided to stop by our hotel and change so we could enjoy the drinks and view. It was definitely worth it -- all of the staff were incredibly kind and professional. They gave complimentary drinks and snacks, and because they couldn't provide a final drink (we tried to order after last call), they gave us a free shot each. 100% worth it, would recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant drinking experience.
