December 31, 2022. Spending New Year's here with my ex-girlfriend; it's almost been three years. The steak was delicious, and the waiter's enthusiastic explanation of the wine and steak was excellent. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Italy.

My first visit to Al Vero Girarrosto Toscana dates back to 2011, and I remember it fondly. However, returning recently was an even more delightful experience than I recalled. This restaurant hasn't just maintained its high standards; it has surpassed them. The moment we walked in, we were met with exceptional care and warmth. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. This level of attentiveness, combined with the superb food, made such an impression that we felt compelled to return not once, but twice, during our Rome trip. It's rare to find a place that consistently delivers such a memorable dining experience. Al Vero Girarrosto Toscana is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone seeking outstanding Tuscan cuisine and impeccable service in Rome.

Very warm welcome. The food was very good, a great experience. We had spaghetti Bolognese and spaghetti carbonara...very good, nothing to complain about. Cutlery and water were provided as well!

Near Via Veneto, the restaurant is spread across several rooms, including smaller rooms below street level, and a large grill in the center for cooking meat. There's a wide selection of dishes, including many classic Tuscan dishes: from ribollita to crostini, from Florentine steak to vin santo with biscotti. Overall, the food is quite good, and the service is attentive and friendly. The bill is a downside.

Tercera visita en los últimos dos años. Igual de bueno cada vez. Recientemente visitó con amigos en su primera visita a Roma. El personal era profesional, paciente y divertido. Buena comida, , , todos los platos.

Location per amanti dei ristoranti della vecchia scuola, tutto legno, bottiglie e prosciutto a mano a vista. Il menu è tradizionale, ottima scelta di primi (poco sotto i 20 euro) e tagli classici per la griglia. Il miglior abbacchio alla scottadito (28 euro) della zona e ottima qualità di manzo (dai 28 in su a portata). Meglio qui che altrove se si cerca un ristorante di carne

27/03/2026: The pizzas are very good. I tried the fried pizza, then baked it in the summer version, with yellow and red cherry tomatoes, arugula, parmesan shavings, and buffalo stracciatella...it's truly fresh and tasty! Definitely worth a try. I also recommend the pizza with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto...a true explosion of pleasure for the palate! Highly recommended!
15/03/2026: These Margheritas were delicious. I promised myself I'd post a photo, but they were so good I ate them right away and forgot about them.

Sicilia In Dolce

11/12/2025: Unfortunately, I had to lower my stars. The quality and service have declined in the last couple of years. I stopped buying the cassata, much to my disappointment because I used to love it, because they started making the icing too thick (the second time, even though I specifically asked for a thin icing, as it was in the beginning), so when I cut the slices, the cake becomes mushy and cloying. Today, they also disappointed me with the cannoli, which are usually delicious: they had warned me that I could only use chopped hazelnuts, having run out of pistachios, but then I found myself with half-empty shells, just a strip of ricotta in the center, empty at the sides, and no chopped hazelnuts at all. They made me feel ashamed in front of my dinner host. They should have told me they were out of ingredients; I would have ordered something else.
