I had high expectations for this restaurant in a wine estate on the hills of Acqui, but for once they were not disappointed, rather exceeded!
I, my friends and my Cana, polite but large, enjoyed this splendid location, spacious and modern but also warm and welcoming.
Regarding food, the Piedmontese tradition revisited in the right way, with high quality raw materials, even the cellar is up to par.
All excellent, but try the black pig's cheek cnt and...
We will definitely return, also because the price for the value amply justifies the trip from the Riviera.

Already customers in Nizza Monferrato, Terzo Tempo in the new Cascinone location has maintained the same imprint as a virtuous example of excellent Piedmontese cuisine characterized by careful research of raw materials. Very friendly and courteous staff, speed of service was normal considering that the place was very full. Cristiano, the owner, is always ready to give excellent advice on the choice of wine, this time we took a 2018 Nizza "Cremosina" from the historic Bersano company, which paired perfectly with the dishes we chose. As appetizers we had a round of "Piedmontese breed" veal cooked in salt with tuna sauce, oven-roasted Asti square pepper rolls stuffed with Roccaverano robiola and tuna and a puff pastry pie with potatoes, leeks and bacon on Toma fondue Maccagno, all three excellent. We continued with two portions of tajarin alla carbonara monferrina (julienned seasonal vegetables) and one of Square ravioli from Asti with roast sauce, both dishes so good that they make an encore... As a second portion, another portion of ravioli, a baked vegetarian lasagna with Nizza hunchback cardoon and toma Raschera and a baked duck leg with very tasty herbs and Moscato d'Asti. Finally the desserts, a Verdello di Siracusa lemon sorbet, a panna cotta with chamomile and toffee sauce and a blood orange parfait with cocoa biscuit crumbs and chocolate sauce. Two waters and three coffees, for a final bill (including a small and very welcome discount) of 105 Euros for three, including wine!!!! Absolutely unbeatable value for money! It goes without saying that we can't wait to return as soon as possible, 110 km of travel has never been gastronomically well spent!

Dit restaurant is niet gesloten maar verhuisd. Het nieuwe adres is: Regione Boschi 2, Acqui Terme. Een unieke locatie, op de top van een heuvel met een prachtig uitzicht. De kaart is zeer uitgebreid en goed met ook nog lage prijzen. Een omweg waard!
