The excellence of the food.
Reserved place, excellently furnished and with attention to every detail. The chef is an exceptional person. I had the pleasure of meeting her. The dishes are sublime, refined, intelligent, non-trivial. In the photo a risotto and a tagliolini. I even ate a raw dish that I don't like... Very good. The wine list is highly sought after. The quiet but impeccable service.
It's not just any Lecce restaurant. Here we are at the top, despite respect for local raw materials, but not only.

In Lecce, Italy Alex is a very nice upscale seafood restaurant. The fish is very fresh. The atmosphere is inviting and formal… would make a good setting for a business lunch. The Beef tartare was excellent—fresh and clean… the black truffle was shaved at the table, adding to the experience. The civiche and tuna were also good. The stand out dish was the pasta with raw shrimp and stracciatella… truly delicious. Also the house made cream limoncello was a treat. If you’re into seafood, I’d highly recommend.

What can I say, not that there is any need to repeat it... but... TOP!!! SUPERB SERVICE, ATMOSPHERE AND DISHES!! The dish that the owner recommended to me was an EXCELLENT veal cooked 96 hours at a low temperature that LITERALLY melted in your mouth like butter. I recommend the place only to true connoisseurs! ❤️

Today my husband treated me for a candle light dinner at Alex. This place is exceptionally fantastic. Food is the best I had so far in Italy. Staff are friendly. Beautiful ambience and art work by Pignatelli. A must to visit.
