Terme del Colesterolo is one of those restaurants that makes you smile as soon as you walk in. The food is outstanding. The sandwiches come on fresh bread that is crunchy on the outside and soft inside, filled with generous portions of meat, cheese and sauce that taste homemade and full of flavor. Every bite feels rich and satisfying. The atmosphere is unforgettable. Bottles line the walls, hats and scarves hang above you, and there is this eclectic and playful feeling that makes the place feel alive. It is the kind of restaurant that feels completely Italian and completely unique. The staff are welcoming and kind and the service is relaxed but attentive. I even made a video while I was here and had to laugh at myself because I could not pronounce the name of the town. I am English and my Italian is very bad, but everyone here made me feel at home anyway. This is the kind of place you remember and look forward to coming back to.

We came from Trentino after hearing about it, and it was a fantastic experience; the atmosphere and service are fun and friendly, the food is exceptional, and the quality is top-notch. Some might complain about the wait, but given the quality and perfect cooking, the wait is more than justified. I only found two small problems: the 180 km distance from my home and the fact that after the first bite, I would have ordered the whole menu! 🌝

I'd give the food 10 stars, which is truly delicious. The meat melts in your mouth and is succulent and plentiful. The prices are excellent, the staff is very friendly, and the owner is incredibly nice. Every time I return to Reggio Emilia, I'll definitely go there. I recommend it to everyone.

Delicious food!!! The only downside is the prices! When they opened, the same sandwich I had was €5.60/€6. Now it's up to €9.50. I understand inflation, but it's way out of line. Delicious and tasty, but the prices are out of line.

For our first visit to Reggio Emilia, the Terme del Colesterolo was our first stop, and it was definitely worth it, both for the food and the atmosphere. If you want to eat well and have a laugh, this place is truly unique! Anita and Giampaolo (the ones on the way to Frara)

If you're passing through Reggio, you absolutely have to eat at this restaurant!! Everything was delicious and the owner was amazing!! Highly recommended!

Piccolo locale in pieno centro, proprio accanto a San Prospero. Siamo in 3 con un cane, così ci assegnano un tavolino in un angolo che ci offre la tranquillità necessaria, per il cane e per gli altri clienti. Il servizio è rapido, lo staff molto cortese. Cibo davvero eccellente, e ottimo il vino. L'aspettativa era alta ma la fama è davvero meritata. Consigliatissimo

Da provare!!!! Locale molto curato sia per la pulizia che arredamento, ci siamo trovati benissimo!!! Piatti molto buoni e ottime porzioni
