Taverna San Trovaso In Venezia

Stumbled upon this place while staying a 2 minute walk from Accademia. The vibe, the food and the location was amazing. We were served by Anna, who was SO friendly, kind and personable and gave us recommendations. She was honestly amazing. We had the house special, duck Ragu, the pomodorro pizza, the marika pizza, the seafood mix pasta. All spectacular dishes! And the desserts (tiramisu, crème brule) were just as amazing. Must visit again!!!

Great restaurant, make sure you go to Taverna not restaurant San Trovaso. The pasta with cozze (mussels) is outrageous the service excellent. The staff all eat together 30 minutes before opening at 7:00 PM.

Simply one of the best traditional Italian restaurants in Venice. The Food is stunning. The restaurant is unpretentious and just delivers excellent quality food. Make a reservation for a good table in the main restaurant area.

Food made with fresh ingredients!

In Venice, I have tried various restaurants and this is without a doubt the best, the quality-price ratio is excellent, they cook all kinds of typical dishes of Venetian gastronomy very well, the staff is very nice, it is a very cozy place. You don't feel at all that abuse of tourist restaurants, which sadly exist in this city, everything is delicious and very careful, at an unbeatable price. It is a family place, where many tourists but also local people go. Every time I go to Venice, I am extremely excited to return to this restaurant, it is as gratifying as meeting an old friend.

Je connais cette taverne depuis plus de 20 ans mais la qualité a vraiment baissé. Le déjeuner était terne et sans âme. Cicchetti limite pas bons! Personnel aimable mais blasé . Dommage .
