The food is excellent and the price is reasonable, I recommend it.

This restaurant was recommended by another restaurant owner, who was also fully booked for the evening in question. This one immediately piqued my curiosity. The restaurant is located on a small hill in an equally small medieval village. The atmosphere is rustic but welcoming. The waiter was very friendly. The grilled lamb with truffles was divine. A feast of fresh porcini mushrooms that I'll remember for a long time. Well done.

I've been coming to Umbria from Turin for almost 20 years to relax, and whenever possible, I pop into Collepino. Taverna San Silvestro is a marvel; I've never found a single dish I dislike, and the simple yet refined food is a blast from the past. I recommend the mushrooms, potatoes, and grilled kid, the snails, the strangozzi with truffles, the ovuli, the wild asparagus and wild herbs, and, if available, the zuppa inglese. I thank the chef and Mr. Fabio for continuing the traditions with commitment and love, despite the hassle of easy money. ❤️

It's the only restaurant in town, and it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Although the menu was limited, the sandwiches were fresh and delicious. My son loved going there and kept buying something—it quickly became one of his favorite places. I'll definitely be back for breakfast next time I'm in the area.

One of our all-time favorite restaurants. Very good food, fantastic location. This time they let us dine on the upstairs terrace, which was truly beautiful and had a stunning view. It's a shame about the extractor fan attached to our table, which was left off for most of the dinner anyway. Highly recommended, definitely worth a try.

Everything was perfect! The owner was incredibly kind, the ingredients were excellent, and the place is a fairytale town. True Umbrian gastronomy!

Amazing experience again like last time.

We enjoyed truly delicious traditional dishes in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We dined on the balcony with a splendid view surrounded by greenery, truly enchanting! The owner and waiters were very kind. An experience worth repeating, highly recommended!

The available stars aren't enough to rate this unique location among the rooftops and stone houses of beautiful Collepino. The terrace view is enchanting, with views of Mount Subasio, Trevi, the Foligno Valley, and Montefalco in the distance. All around are ancient tiled roofs and lush greenery. You'll be mesmerized by the beauty of this medieval village, which resembles a nativity scene. We booked lunch for 8:00 PM for two adults. The aroma of porcini mushrooms wafting through the alleys near the tavern was truly mind-blowing! Then we discovered the excellent quality of the food, the speed—10 minutes or less from ordering to the steaming plate ready in front of us—and orders arrived at the table next to us at the same time. Google's stars have run out, otherwise I'd give more after tonight, Tuesday, August 5, 2025! The place is beautiful. The young waiter is extremely kind, capable, helpful, and above all, quick. Perfect service. The cutlery, dishes, and tablecloths were spotless. The roses on the terrace complete the beauty of the location! We ate 2 generous portions of fettuccine with porcini mushrooms that truly tasted like homemade. The dish itself was also packed with mushrooms, with pieces of porcini mushrooms this big! A divine flavor that we will never forget. They didn't seem like frozen mushrooms. For the second course, 1 portion of wild boar stew, divinely cooked and served in an earthenware pot, the meat was incredibly tender, 1 portion of grilled sausages (3) delicious, and grilled potatoes for 2, cut in an original way, well cooked, tasty, and delicious. Perfectly cooked. No wine because we are both teetotalers. Water in a glass bottle and the 2 coffees offered by the very kind owner. The restaurant is dog-friendly. We spent €69. I will be back. It was a moment... what can I say: perfect! 🥰

Molto suggestivo mangiare in una piccola piazzetta del paese. Abbiamo preso due primi di cui uno con tartufo, so bene che non si mette il parmigiano sulla pasta col tartufo, ma volevo comunque provare e ho chiesto al cameriere un po' di formaggio grattugiato, ma sì è rifiutato di portarmelo. Non credo che si debba sindacare sulle scelte del cliente, anche se sembrano delle richieste astruse. Qualsiasi richiesta del cliente, anche se strana, deve sempre essere esaudita, anche perché è lui che paga. Buoni anche i secondi. Prezzi nella media.
