It's my must-try every time I come to Città della Pieve. I love their food so much that I always order the same things: bruschetta with porcini mushrooms (phenomenal), artichokes (sublime, fantastic flavor, the best I've ever had), and pici all'aglione, which amazes me every time. Today we also tried their ravioli with pistachio pesto. What can I say? There are no words to describe them!! Truly unique flavors. Their olive oil is something special. The desserts of the day are always a surprise, and today their brighelle won me over. The limoncello to finish, on the house, is that extra touch that makes the experience even more enjoyable. What can I say, everything is unique and special. The courtesy of the young woman and the owner make everything more engaging and peaceful. A restaurant that feels like home. I'll definitely be back!

Whenever we return to Pieve, we absolutely have to eat at Taverna del Perugino. The pizza is excellent, just the way we like it: thin crust and with a wide variety of tasty toppings. We're vegetarians and teetotalers, so we can't enjoy all the delicious dishes, but we always find excellent and tasty options. The staff is always very kind and thorough in their recommendations. The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet, the food excellent, the staff excellent, and we've recommended the Taverna to all our friends.
One downside...it's 400 km from home, but I hope to return soon.

Pizza huge (our mistake, when we ordered pizza we didn't explain that we would like only for one, so we had double size, so if you would like only pizza for one, mentioned), is what came first in my mind, and tasty, and crusty, cheesy😍
Desserts that we had (tiramisu and pannacotta) home made, 10 out of 10.
And please, try vino bianco frizzante
Highly recommend this restaurant.

You might think of it as one of the many restaurants in this city, but upon entering you truly discover a different world. Every dish becomes a pleasure, from the appetizer of cured meats truly worthy of the Umbrian tradition to the pici all'aglione to the sliced steak worthy of the name. You expect normal portions, as is customary in high-end restaurants, but here every dish becomes important and primary, and what is now rare is abundant. Some children near the table are devouring a pizza that in my opinion is spectacular, and I will have to come back tomorrow evening to try it. This is what I finally have the pleasure of saying.... NOT TO BE MISSED... The price-to-value ratio is fair and not to be underestimated... THE STAFF IS HELPFUL, KIND, AND... DISCREET....

Very friendly service, excellent first courses, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, and ravioli with pistachios and sun-dried tomatoes. The local wine selection is also very good. Prices are reasonable.
