Wonderful little restaurant. We have been two weeks in Sicily and this was our favorite. Especially the ragu bianco is to die for, but we did not have pneumonia bad bite. The wine was excellent as well and the torta for dessert was the cherry on the cake. The staff is very polite and welcoming.
All in all a big Recommendation.

I've been to Sicily several times, but I wholeheartedly recommend the Taverna del Pavone restaurant.

Lunch, after visiting the cathedral on September 26, was more than delightful because of the sincere service. The pasta and salad dishes were excellent. We really enjoyed the joking friendly welcome. Hits my recommendation list. Good local wine list.

Stumbled onto this restaurant after visiting Monreale Cathedral. Initial impression was a slightly surly owner but after sitting down it all came together. The food was fabulous and service was brilliant.
