Wonderful little restaurant. We have been two weeks in Sicily and this was our favorite. Especially the ragu bianco is to die for, but we did not have pneumonia bad bite. The wine was excellent as well and the torta for dessert was the cherry on the cake. The staff is very polite and welcoming. All in all a big Recommendation.

My friends and I give Sicilian cuisine and Sicilian hospitality 5 stars! I've been to Sicily several times, but I wholeheartedly recommend the Taverna del Pavone restaurant. The wine recommendation was also first-class. Dolce Vita

Lunch, after visiting the cathedral on September 26, was more than delightful because of the sincere service. The pasta and salad dishes were excellent. We really enjoyed the joking friendly welcome. Hits my recommendation list. Good local wine list.

Stumbled onto this restaurant after visiting Monreale Cathedral. Initial impression was a slightly surly owner but after sitting down it all came together. The food was fabulous and service was brilliant.

09/11/2025: I love sandwiches. Panino. Do you like thin peace of amazing bread which is crunchy? Sauce which touches all the tasting buds? Amazing amount of meat and variety? Then you are in a right place. Not too much bread. Crispy with every bite. Juicy. Salty. Spicy. Savory. Sweet. And on top of that Carlo is a the best host. We enjoyed vino. Enjoyed food. And coming here for the food became a normality. Lower standards you will not accept after that and yet it felt like being at home with a Chef who is a magician. Make sure to visit this place on the way from airport or to the airport !
09/11/2025: The menu only lists sandwiches with meat or fish, but upon request (in Italian), Carlo conjured up a mega delicious vegetarian sandwich with artichokes, mozzarella and onions!

22/11/2025: Yesterday, November 21, 2025, Andrea and I celebrated our wedding...what can I say? Everything was beautiful, the staff was excellent, and the photographer was fantastic. The food was also very good and of high quality, and the service was impeccable. I recommend this villa to everyone.
