And then after visiting the magnificent Cathedral of Monreale we ventured to discover this small town and by chance we stopped for lunch in this lovely Taverna. For us it was a pleasant experience!!! We ate very well, my pasta alla Norma was truly excellent and the appetizers were delicious, excellent quality food, we highly recommend it 👏

We had lunch on Saturday and Sunday, a welcoming environment, the owner very kind and the girl who served the tables helpful and attentive to customer needs. Anyone who finds themselves going to Monreale should stop at the "Taverna del peavone" to taste the delicacies of Sicily, everything is excellent, the price is right for the quality 👋

A superb restaurant about a 4 minute walk from the cathedral. Homemade pasta, grilled vegetables, Sicilian bread, and cannoli were the best I've had here. The restaurant decor and the service was warm and welcoming. A real gem!

Definitely a good restaurant but I was unlucky because after my arrival a group of 10 very noisy people with children stuck to me. The spaghetti was not to my taste and the caponata was very sweet. It was good but I chose wrong and didn't like it. Damage. However a little expensive.

Wow! We had a superb lunch on a day out in Monreale after visiting the Cathedral (which itself is absolutely stunning). Friendly, unrushed service and excellent food. We shared an antipasto and then a primo, and followed it with the meat platter for two. Everything was resonant with flavour. We asked for a rosé wine recommendation and were pointed to the least expensive on the list, which was genuinely delicious (none of the wines was expensive by restaurant standards). There was nothing to fault and much to praise. We left wondering when we might be able to return.

Elegante raffinato e curato. Proprietario accogliente e gentilissimo nel consigliare le pietanze. Servizio in sala eccellente, professionale, cortese e garbato. Cibi elaborati con cura e gusto, dall'antipasto al dessert. Prezzi congrui alla qualità. Consigliatissimo.
