I had always eaten Eritrean cooked at home, but here I liked everything, from the starter to the dessert. Obviously you have to love this type of spicy or spicy food. Friendly, courteous and fast service. Fair price and generous portions. Ideal if there are also vegetarians in a group of friends.

Typical place with a simple setting, but with an atmosphere where you can breathe an exotic air. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Large outdoor space for the summer period. Excellent dishes according to the most faithful tradition. Definitely competitive prices. I highly recommend trying it. One of the best Eritrean restaurants in Rome!!!

13/01/2025: This place is a hidden gem in heart of Rome! Gabriel went truly above and beyond and was the highlight of our trip to Rome! We only had 3 nights of stay in Rome, and we came to Hi res twice due to Gabriel’s exceptional service! Normally we are all about exploring the new places, but he got us hooked :)) Food and service is not any short of Michelin star!! If I could I would give 6 or 7 stars out of 5! Its been a few month since we visited and our son still asks for Hi-Res every once in a while ! :)
06/01/2025: Quiet night, but incredible food and service at this rooftop hidden gem. The staff was knowledgeable about wines and paired it real nice with the plates. Must try when in Rome.

10/11/2024: Typical Roman trattoria with an excellent choice of food and wines, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Friendly but precise service, excellent quality/price level. I recommend it.
