Extremely good typical dishes, warm welcome and excellent service! Not to be missed is the platter with excellent local cured meats

In a small village we found this wonderful tavern with excellent food and impeccable service. Thank you for your hospitality and for taking us back to ancient environments and flavors. We will definitely come back to visit you.

Excellent cuisine and a very pleasant environment, it is easy to park and it is a stone's throw from the center of Deruta. Definitely worth a visit

Restaurant with a visible tourist footprint but very nice with a wide selection of traditional dishes and good quality/price ratio! The waitress was very kind from the beginning when we asked if it was possible to make changes to the dishes offered (she told us there was no problem). The only discordant note was what seemed to be the owner who scolded a waitress in the middle of the room for no apparent reason, I think that when there are things to say it's best to do it apart. To conclude they also offered us bitters at the end of lunch.

Tavoli all'interno, in locale medioevale, e all'esterno, tutti in pregiata maiolica. Ricette tradizionali o sfiziose e molto ben fatte. Servizio premuroso. Nei week end è bene prenotare.

Old-fashioned restaurant, almost familiar welcome and attentive service. Excellent traditional and innovative recipes, truffles, local meats. Tables inside, beautiful medieval place, and outside. Better to book.

Che dire... ho mangiato il baccalà mantecato piu buono di quello mangiato finora e una di ceci veramente ottima. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti.

Osteria Del Bottaccione

08/12/2024: Nice place, very kind people, they managed to make us have dinner, we couldn't find a place to have dinner anywhere else in the area
27/11/2024: Obligatory premise: the writer is 180 cm tall and weighs 120 kg and has no allergies other than fasting... so I speak from full knowledge of the facts.... An apparently anonymous restaurant from the outside it appears very similar to many restaurants in the area where typical local cuisine is offered, sometimes good and sometimes less so, but entering Bottaccione opens up a different world. Inside there is a small but extremely welcoming place, few frills but a lot of substance. The service is excellent and the cuisine is nothing short of amazing, I'm certainly not going to recommend particular dishes because the menu is constantly changing and tastes are extremely subjective but what we ate... and we ate a lot.... it was all delicious from the appetizers to the wine in the carafe... upon leaving I couldn't help but hug and thank the lady in the kitchen. Last surprise, the truly competitive price alone makes it worth driving a few extra kilometers.
