I ate this evening in this top restaurant in the town of Deruta. Truffle in abundance in the dishes and at reasonable costs. The desserts are also really fantastic. Huge choice and very good dishes.
The two waiters were excellent and were always present and attentive. The owner was also very courteous and friendly.

I went for lunch with my family 2 days ago. We were welcomed by the courtesy of the staff and the owner Luciano. Tables decorated with local ceramics are placed outside the room in the middle of the medieval village, creating an evocative and unique place. The food was exquisite. I recommend it to everyone for the variety and goodness of the dishes and the kindness of the staff. Optimal

Very hot day, apart from the heat, we had a good time. Unique in the historic center of Deruta. Service accompanied by the company of the restaurateur, the tagliatelle with Chianina ragu are very light, the platters are tasty and right in quantity. The truffle omelette, bitters and limoncello offered are also good.

The place has both indoor and outdoor tables and offers a menu typical of the area but really well done.
Try the fettuccine with white Chianina ragù, the aubergine parmigiana, the uccelletto beans and the scamorza with truffle. Everything was really well done and just the right size portions. Absolutely average prices and courteous and attentive service. The only thing to point out is that if it's very hot inside they don't have air conditioning.

"La Taverna del Gusto" is an exceptional restaurant. From the moment we entered, the staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism. The service was impeccable: attentive, friendly and never intrusive.

Characteristic restaurant in the center, excellent food.
As soon as we arrived they offered us good homemade bread with excellent olive oil.
Ate fresh pasta with delicious truffles.
We liked it so much that we went back there for lunch the next day.

Looking for where to have lunch in the center of Deruta we found this place. We ate outside and, despite the sultry day, it was great. Very courteous staff and traditional, refined cuisine. Truffles are not only on the menu, but you can really taste them! Experience to be repeated.
