For a traveler, it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in a place from the past that tells its story and traditions. It's precisely on this point that I feel compelled to emphasize to the owners that their food, while good, betrays our Umbrian tradition. My tagliatelle with artichokes and pancetta were practically unseasoned, contrary to our tradition of abundance. A welcoming host offers plates overflowing with pasta and, above all, with toppings that often equal the quantity of pasta. This applies to a first course, a second course, a dessert, and even a simple sandwich. Our grandparents welcomed you with what they had, but they gave it all away. In short, good, but stingy, and unfortunately, the price isn't the only thing that's salty.

A beautiful place, excellent quality of typical Umbrian cuisine, reasonably priced. A must-visit if you're in the area.

We found this place by chance, having celebrated New Year's Eve nearby. We booked at short notice, 17 people, and they still tried to accommodate us, and I must say they succeeded completely. The place is intimate, quaint. Excellent service, Ella was very kind, as was the other guy who waited on the tables, but I don't know his name. Delicious food, excellent raw materials. I recommend the scamorza with truffle, tagliatelle with Chianina beef, carbonara with truffle, and the wild boar stew. Mr. Luciano is a true host, friendly, polite, and super helpful. In short, my friends and I left our hearts here. If I were to return to Deruta, I definitely know where to eat again.

I found this place via Google and I have to say we were very pleased. The truffle omelette was delicious, as was everything else. The place is cute and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I recommend it!
