I've been coming to the Taverna since I was a child, and for me, this is where you can still savor the true flavors of Lake Garda...
The fish is always incredibly fresh, everything is prepared by them!
A quaint and well-kept location, the staff is always super friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes.
The desserts are delicious, homemade!

Top-notch restaurant for locally (!) freshly caught fish, right on the shore next to a small, picturesque harbor and with a beautiful view of the lake. Good wine at very reasonable prices.

The portions are very large. The waiters don't speak English or don't want to. The appetizer was very good, as was the salad and the fish soup. The fried fish, on the other hand, and the grilled fish had a spoiled taste in places.. the bread was very hard and the one with olives I think was spoiled too.. it smelled of mold.

I really like Taverna del Caputano, the grilled Coregone is my faborite dish, i always end up taking it again and again.
Authentic food, nice service, a great location... i am looking forward for my next visit.

The view is truly amazing, right on Lake Garda.
We had a schnitzel and grilled fish for dinner. The schnitzel was very good, by fish standards. Unfortunately, the food arrived at different times, with a delay of about 5-10 minutes.
Cash payments are only accepted at the bar, not at the table.
The restaurant's large dog is very friendly.
