Last night we had dinner at Taverna dei Frati and it was a wonderful experience. Excellent dishes made with local ingredients (the lamb offal and the typical Soriano gnocchi col ferro are highly recommended) were paired with an excellent bottle of wine. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the quality/price ratio was excellent.

Leave the LED lights, industrial style, and battery-operated lamps to others. Here you eat in a monastery refectory where probably four centuries ago a monk sat in your place copying manuscripts while sipping artisanal bitters. Unfortunately, I could only appreciate the delicious fried foods and the quality of the meat, offered at fair prices. But I'll be back. 🔝🔝🔝

We found it on Google Maps and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the service, and especially the food. We thank Antonio for the excellent service. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in the area.

I went for lunch over the Soriano festival weekend. The food was very good, but I thought it was a little too tasty, but that's a matter of personal preference. The portions were quite generous. The waiters were excellent and very kind, and the owner was very friendly. I'll definitely try again!

I went to this restaurant with a group of 50 people. The place is beautiful, simple, and spacious. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The tour had organized a set lunch with Cremeaux of chickpeas and chestnuts Lasagna with sausage and mushrooms Capocollo with mixed mushrooms Baked potatoes Dessert. I have to say, everything was very good, large portions, and the service was quick. I highly recommend it.

Molto bene! Me and the missus were visiting from Manchester and loved the typical athmosphere! We had a waiter from Viterbo he told us his name I don't remember exactly how it was called but something along the lines of Luca Scuzzini and he was super nice although he talked alot about chestnuts. Food was fantastic!

Must visit if you're in the area extremely delicious local food with a lovely atmosphere! Our waiter Luke Scampini or something like that is also very knowledgeable about chestnuts! Would highly recommend

23/08/2025: I knew I could get delicious ice cream in Italy. But Lolla Gelato takes it to the next level! They celebrate this art. Every flavor I tried was outstanding. Not overly sweet, not artificial, not watered down. Rather, it was a symphony of natural and, above all, local flavors, like blackberry, fig, or peach. For me, one of the best ice cream parlors in the world! Excellent, keep up the good work!

07/10/2025: A corner of home in the streets of the medieval historic center We often eat at this restaurant because we like the food and we feel at home. The staff is fast, precise and accurate and the food is always of excellent quality. We love the tagliata with lard and whenever we want it we eat it there: abundant, perfect and with two side dishes included in the price. Roberto and his family are truly a rare pearl of catering. We go there often and we also really like the pizza!
