We have come here more than once each trip to Venice … we can only review one dish as it’s the only one we’ve tried and is one of the reasons we come to this restaurant (and dare we say, to Venice!) as it’s just sublime! The linguine or strozzapreti allo scoglio is to die for! They will do it with whatever pasta you like. The pear and chocolate cake is also unparalleled!

In the heart of Venice, a tavern straight out of a pirate movie! Authentic cuisine, made with fresh, homemade ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for a hearty meal. A wonderful discovery for anyone wanting to experience true Venetian gastronomy!

We really loved this place. It piqued our interest on day one but couldn’t find it again until our last day. And what a treat. We had a lovely meal in a fabulous atmosphere and attentive staff. I had the linguine lobster which was truly lovely, with a hint of chilly. Fab! Fair prices for Venice (€18 for a beer in St Marks square? Walked away from that one. Bonkers!).

Nice quiet small square in the bustling Venice, where we could sit and enjoy eating outside. Dishes were fine, but nothing particular or outstanding. The food in Trieste was cheaper and more delicious. 😋

This tavern is centrally located (in the San Polo neighborhood) and is lively, yet still has a quiet terrace. The food, service, and quality are top-notch. Highly recommended for a dinner where you want to make a good impression!

07/01/2026: A truly beautiful place, in a unique location...and so far there's little to say. The problem, however, is that inside the restaurant it definitely didn't reach 18 degrees Celsius. We spent the two hours of lunch with frozen feet and numb hands...of course, the particularly cold day outside didn't help, but I don't think I've ever felt so cold inside a restaurant! The dishes were good, but nothing exceptional. The service was prompt and friendly. The quality/price ratio was unsatisfactory.
30/12/2025: The atmosphere is very refined. We asked for a table near the pier but were told it wasn't available. The table remained empty the entire time. They probably reserve it for their more well-known customers. The service is friendly. We ordered a tasting menu; the octopus had gelatinous strands from over-cooking and over-heating. Everything else was good. I wouldn't return for the value, but for the location, yes.

16/01/2026: It's rare to find gluten-free pizzas this good! They're usually very chewy, but here they're super soft and easy to digest! The regular dough pizzas, on the other hand, are thin and very crispy. The ambiance and all-wood furnishings are reminiscent of a typical mountain hut. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely be back!
10/01/2026: It's been years since I've had a pizza with such a fragrant dough and top-notch ingredients. The service is excellent.
