I happened upon it by chance on a Sunday in July, under the cool shade of broad-leaved trees, everything was truly pleasant, the location enchanting, the food very tasty and the prices in line. The only thing that was out of place was the slowness to receive the menu to consult (30 minutes) and having to ask specifically for it suggested a somewhat slow and disorganized service. However, there were really a lot of tables to manage, perhaps too many, but the staff were very kind.

One of the best meals we had during our 10 day trip. Incredible authentic and local food, unfussy and amazingly tasty. Coupled with amazing local wines, amazing service and a great location, not touristy at all. Would highly recommend

Typical, delicious. The red wine on the menu by the tasting glass is perfect. Located outside the tourist center of Orta San Giulio, it's full of locals and customers. Prices include wines by the glass and an aperitif.

Very nice place, set in the splendid setting of the Villa Nigra gardens.

Beautifully located in an old villa at the entrance to Miasino.
Parking directly across the street.
Attentive, courteous service, never intrusive.
The ambiance outside is quite special; advance reservations are recommended.
The house wine (Barolo) was excellent, as were the ravioli with asparagus sauce made from lovely thin pasta with a ricotta filling.
The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, and our desserts (crumble/lemon sorbet) were the icing on the cake.
The whole evening was a great success, and the value for money was absolutely excellent.
If we're ever at Lake Orta again, we'll definitely be back.

Beautiful location.
We dined outside with a charming atmosphere.
Excellent selection of wines.
Delicious food, impeccable cooking of the meat.
For dessert we had the cheesecake (amazing) and pear and calvados sorbet.
The staff is courteous and made us feel at ease.
We will definitely return if we happen to find ourselves in these parts.

Spontan zum Mittagessen eingekehrt, freundlicher Empfang, man sitzt gemütlich im Schatten im Garten eines Palazzo. Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Essen fein, Preis/Leistung stimmt hier absolut, auch bei den Weinpreisen.

Consigliati dal bed&breakfast dove alloggiavamo ci siamo recati per una cena da LILLI, proprietaria e maitre del ristorante Antico Agnello.
Location d’altri tempi dove la sensazione è coccola e di casa
Menu interessante e al contempo intelligente - variegato e ben proposto.
Cibo ben eseguito dall’inizio alla fine - con particolare godimento verso selezione dei formaggi e dessert (bunet alcolico)
Lilli la proprietaria la ciliegia sulla torta per una serata in totale relax con qualche chiacchiera di piacevole condivisione culinaria
