Tato's In Monopoli

Beautiful place... Full of smiling people

Campari Spritz outside, okay, but without even a snack.

A great place, and one of the few open in mid-November, even before 7 p.m. Delicious food, excellent drinks, and great service. We loved the atmosphere of the bar. It's nice that there's also an indoor area so you don't have to sit outside on a cold November evening.

The food was excellent, despite the tourist crowds. They were quick and friendly. And even though it was our first time, we felt like we were in a family environment thanks to Carmen's friendliness and expertise.

We enjoyed our meal at Tato's so much we ate there twice. The first time I had the Tartare di Tonno and my partner the salmon. Both were delicious. The second time we both had octopus tentacles which was also cooked to perfection. We could easily have eaten there again but we were only in Monopoli for 4 days and wanted to try elsewhere (which incidentally wasn't as good as Tato's!) The staff were very friendly too. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
