Tato's In Monopoli

The food was excellent, despite the tourist crowds. They were quick and friendly. And even though it was our first time, we felt like we were in a family environment thanks to Carmen's friendliness and expertise.

We enjoyed our meal at Tato's so much we ate there twice. The first time I had the Tartare di Tonno and my partner the salmon. Both were delicious. The second time we both had octopus tentacles which was also cooked to perfection. We could easily have eaten there again but we were only in Monopoli for 4 days and wanted to try elsewhere (which incidentally wasn't as good as Tato's!) The staff were very friendly too. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Yes, I recommend it. For the kindness of the staff, the beautiful location, the excellent Primitivo, but above all for the menu, which is much appreciated. We'll definitely be back.

So! I came in to drink just one beer and after I saw how it was served to me, I was very happy! The guy who served it was very professional. He knows exactly how to serve beers, he is a scholar! At the end of the second beer I thought about eating and the service I have to say is impeccable, they pay attention to every detail. I had finished the chips and the bowl was empty and after not even 3 minutes one of the waitresses took it away immediately. I only had the German beer to drink and I have to say that it is very good because obviously it is very well draught! To eat I saw the menu and I was surprised that they did not have hamburgers in a bun, but on a plate with bacon and eggs! Spectacular dish with an incredible flavor! I highly recommend coming here to eat and drink.

tato's - American Bar & Bistro, that's half wrong. This place has an extraordinary kitchen with great Italian food also. The 2 guys Gaspare (Owner) & Vito (Best Friend) are always there for you with best mixed drinks and service. And at service there's always Allesio & Carmen for! At the kitchenette it's Chef Federica makes it together with Bea for you. Modern & Classic Drinks & Food as you expect it today. It's a must to visit.
