We are extremely happy with the warm hospitality. The quality of service is fantastic, and the staff are very kind. Our waitress was incredibly helpful. The pizza is superb, and the food arrives super fast!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would... excellent value for money, the food is good and the price is right, if not cheap. The atmosphere is quiet and the waiters are very kind, a plus for a historic Sicilian waiter. Possibility to watch football matches. I always go back willingly.

The food is excellent, and the location is great! The atmosphere is very welcoming, with karaoke and entertainment included. My only suggestion for improvement: the waiters are friendly, they run around a lot, but the customer service is lacking. That's why it's rated 4* and not 5*. Thank you!

We had a great experience, both for the fish dishes and the pizza, which we also found with whole wheat dough. The dishes were beautifully presented and the ingredients were very fresh. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Bar Pasticceria il Kroffo

01/05/2026: One of the best pastry shops in Bologna with an adjoining bar. They make their own cakes and savory treats for any occasion, from birthdays to first communions to weddings. I purchased a wide variety of sweet and savory treats for my daughters' graduation party. The pastry chef offers excellent advice and may even create a cake with custom flavors! Do you know what the name means? Ask the pastry chef directly.
24/03/2026: I've visited Pasticceria Il Kroffo several times since moving to the area, fearing I'd struggle to find that habit that often comes with moving to a new place. I was pleasantly surprised: the service and quality at Pasticceria Il Kroffo are undeniably excellent. I'm a breakfast fanatic, so much so that I know they're closed on Mondays and still show up at their closed shutters almost every Monday. There's little I can do! In a city where routine seems to slip away, Il Kroffo has allowed me to carve out a little space for sweet everyday life within the frenetic pace of the city.
