07/12/2025: Many will tell you to absolutely avoid restaurants around the main attractions in Florence but if you're after a delicious no-frills meal, this is the one you absolutely shouldn't. We stumbled upon this restaurant as it was the only open one in the area late evening. We had the asparagus and cheese risotto which to a meat-eater like me sounded boring but was actually amazing. The wild boar pappardelle? Equally delicious even without parmesan on top. We went back for lunch another day and tried the ravioli topped with ragú bolognese. The ragú was probably the best one I've ever had or at least in a long time, so now we have to come back again for more whoops lol. Luckily it stays open till midnight which is a big plus as is the service with a smile! Here's a video sure to make you drool ... Buon appetito!
07/12/2025: It was my first meal after moving from Rome to Florence! It wasn't on my list of must-try restaurants in Florence, and although people have mixed feelings about the famous D'Auste, I was still curious and wanted to go, but I heard that the reviews weren't that great recently, so I just happened to find it near my current location. I went there because the Korean reviews were really good, and although it was Sunday and there were a lot of people on the street, the place was spacious (of course, it was full at the end). I didn't know what was on the menu, so I ordered the seafood pasta that was recommended and the second item besides the steak T-bone. I showed them the picture and said, "This one~" and asked for the pasta to be a little spicy with a tomato base. Wow, in Rome, I just... I thought Italian food didn't suit my taste, to the point where I almost threw away my mouth, but here, it felt like I was at a Western restaurant in Korea! The cooking was so good, I was so happyㅜㅜ The spaghetti was super delicious, the seafood flavor was amazing,,, It was medium well, but I was satisfied with the difficult request to cook it a little more ❤️ The T-bone I had the other day was a bit excessive since we had 1kg of pasta for two people, but this It's so deliciousㅠㅠIf anyone is looking for a good restaurant in Florence, go there near the Duomo!!! You'll be satisfied!! I don't know about the other menusㅎㅎThe owner and staff are super friendly
