Excellent food, warm staff, they almost make you feel at home. I wasn't entirely sold on the outdoor seating in the gallery, though I loved the red and white checkered tablecloths. It's definitely a place worth recommending and trying!

I went for lunch with a friend and we had a great time. The place is welcoming, well-kept, and very clean, while the staff was kind, attentive, and helpful. We enjoyed the dishes, which were well-prepared and tasty. The only complaint was the desserts, which, unfortunately, weren't to our liking. Overall, however, it was a positive experience, and I recommend this restaurant.

EXCELLENT. It's truly excellent. The quality of the products is excellent. The fried dumplings and exquisite cured meats are also delicious. Definitely worth trying.

The restaurant's philosophy, manifesto, and food and wine approach alone make this place worth a visit. Add to that the excellent food, good value, and friendly owners, and Tabarin is a must-visit restaurant in the center of Reggio Emilia. Located right between the piazza and Via Emilia, yet tucked away in a tunnel.
