It's not the first time we've dined at Tabarin and it consistently proves to be an excellent choice for tasting traditional dishes.
Excellent food, rustic and welcoming restaurant, always attentive staff.
The fried gnocco and the cappelletti in broth are highly recommended, the yeast-free chocolate cake was excellent... this also met expectations!
Perhaps the only precaution: it would be good to have slightly larger portions of cured meats to accompany the fried gnocco.
For the rest, however, it remains one of our favorite restaurants in Reggio Emilia!

An amazing spot! Simple but genuine food from local businesses. Friendly staff and quick service, very reasonable prices. I had “salvia fritta” and “cipolla di Tropea” and “giardiniera fatta in casa” so yummy
My main course was a pasta (tagliatella con aglione e sugo). So tasty!

We went for lunch on Sunday, after the AC/DC concert.
We immediately felt at home. Everyone was nice and kind.
We had the giardiniera (amazing), tortelli in broth and parmesan cream, cured meats, parmesan and a Lambrusco that one of the guys recommended to us. Very good.
I never take dessert but the same guy paired me with a chocolate cake with a glass of Pedro Ximenez, how could I refuse.
You are wonderful, we will be back.
