Overall, a good experience. The service was subpar, not quite up to par with the highly refined cuisine (sometimes perhaps even a little too refined for my taste). The dishes were truly exceptional (spaghetti with clams, turbot, and raw ham).

This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. We chose the tasting menu, and everything was superb. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the second course, which was meat from a fish menu, but that's just my personal preference.

An amazing first night in Salerno! We did the multi-course option with pairings, and Marco and Giaia did a wonderful job presenting and explaining each. The food and wines and the homemade limoncello were delicious!

I've been to this restaurant many times. The quality of the food and service is excellent. The staff is courteous and attentive to every request and need. It's the only restaurant in Salerno worth eating at.

A wonderful place in the center of Salerno, always clean, with attention to every detail. The food is delicious, always refined, sophisticated, never predictable, and always "authentic." Not to mention the wine cellar and the way they pair wines with dishes—never predictable, always perfect. Thanks to them and their tastings, I've discovered exceptional wines. The service is always impeccable: kindness, smiles, courtesy, discretion, and attentiveness. Those who understand this know it's worth a star.

04/06/2026: We always love returning whenever we travel from southern to northern Italy and/or vice versa. Excellent food. The restaurateurs, Pasquale and Claudio, are not only very professional, but also kind and welcoming. They gave us excellent advice!
02/06/2026: We arrived without a reservation. They immediately set up a table for 16. Pasquale and Claudio recommended a seafood sfizionerie (a seafood platter) for about ten, and the others a delicious spaghetti with clams. Excellent value. Recommended.

I Tre Gufi

06/07/2026: It's been at least 10 years since our last time at I Tre Gufi. I don't even remember why we stopped going there. Most probably because of the unbalance between price and quality of the experience. Anyway, time changes and we decided to visit again the restaurant yesterday. What a pleasant experience! The location is simply astonishing. We had a table outside on the Terrace with the spectacular view. The menu offers a reasonable variety of choices and you can choose between seafood or more traditional Cilento dishes. We opted for seafood and it was good. Typical local ingredients prepared with a bit of creativity which makes them good and different from what you can find many other local restaurants. Tasting good overall. We were suggested a local wine produced not far from Pisciotta. Very good as well. The service was professional and caring and the waiting time between one course and the next was perfect. But it was not a busy night... The price was reasonable, circa €50 per person for a 2 course means and a bottle of wine. Overall a very nice experience for us which surely makes I Tre Gufi a new-new entry in our private list of restaurants in the area (every year becoming shorter and shorter).
04/07/2026: Excellent service, great food, fantastic view so I highly recommend it
