Spontini's pizza in Milan is an absolute classic for those like me who love very thick pizzas. For the same reason, it's categorically not recommended for fans of tagliotte pizzas, that is, very shallow and thin pizzas. That said, personal tastes aside, I believe the quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, and I'm referring in particular to the mozzarella and anchovies, which are truly amazing. In recent years, the selection has become broader and more varied, whereas before it was limited to a few Margherita varieties and lasagna. Now you can choose well from a variety of pizzas, with a wide variety of toppings. As always, there are two sizes: regular and large. I had a large Spontini 1953, simple and tasty, at an acceptable price of €9.50, while the price of the medium Seven Up was outrageous and completely out of place.
It was unprofessional, in my opinion, to walk in and be shown your table by a waitress sitting at a table chatting with some customers, who were almost certainly her friends, but that doesn't justify the fact that she was sitting there chatting amiably in Spanish...

My friend had eaten at one of their other branches before and said it was much better there. This kind of soft, saucy, cheesy item is something you should really eat on-site — as a delivery it wasn’t great and felt more like tomato paste on bread. I’m sure it would taste much better in the restaurant, but even then, I didn’t find it to be anything extraordinary. It’s a thick, soft, richly sauced and cheesy pizza. If you don’t live very close, it’s not ideal for delivery — this type of food is definitely better eaten in person.

The line at the cathedral restaurant was so long, I went here. The dough was thick, so it looked more like bread than pizza. It looked like Korean makgeolli bread with garnish on top. It tasted like bread. It would be good for filling up when you're hungry. The staff was friendly.
