The best Spontini of all the ones we tried in Milan. And it's not true that pizza is the same everywhere. In Papiniano the staff is courteous and attentive, kind, spontaneous and reliable. Nik, the Betty and the wonderful manager himself make that place a fixed point for a family lunch. The pizza is the best of all!!!! When you enter you are welcomed as if you were a person (not a receipt!!) by everyone! I recommend it

Always good, cheap and clean like all spontaneous restaurants, but this one in particular excels for its Courtesy of the staff. In particular, a gentleman who served us was delightful, with us and with the children and was also interested in how my English friend who was with us at lunch and I had met. This pleasantness in dealing with customers is truly rare!

I went to the Viale Papiniano office. They were very kind and friendly. They demonstrated an old-fashioned availability. The staff I encountered were impeccable.

Classic Spontini. The pizza isn't the best you'll eat, but it's not that bad. Note of merit for the staff: super friendly and helpful. One lady had stained the sleeve of her sweater, the waiter took a clean rag and cleaned it for her. Advised!

Ovviamente inutile lodare la pizza di Spontini, per gli amanti della pizza al tegamino resta una certezza. Buonissima. Nello specifico del locale di viale papiniano c’è da aggiungere che il personale. non solo è efficiente e lavorare benissimo, ma sono estremamente gentili e simpatici, sempre pronti a una battuta o a un complimento, senza rallentamenti del servizio. Numeri 1!

14/02/2025: Su un prezioso suggerimento, mi sono recato a cena con amici. Locale molto carino e accogliente, personale gentilissimo e preparatissimo. Abbiamo assaggiato, capesante gratinate, cozze, fritto imperiale e dolce, tutto ottimo e prezzo giusto. Se siete in zona da provare
13/01/2025: Partiamo dal parcheggio facile e abbondante, locale carino, ampio e con una appendice esterna vetrata e climatizzata. Servizio con personale simpatico, cordiale e professionale. Cibo all’altezza e soprattutto con ingredienti di qualità. Acqua in bottiglia di vetro di fonte Bracca che se non microfiltrata, vino bianco della casa più che dignitoso. Caffe ottimo e che in chiusura non rovina il pasto… Prezzi più che onesti, ci tornerò sicuramente. 2 sugerimenti personali, qualche tavolo rotondo in più e luci un filo più soffuse… Bravi bravi, bravi!!!

30/04/2025: Delicious dishes with lots of choice. A bit on the expensive side, but you know that when you eat in the center of Milano.
06/04/2025: Nice atmosphere, great restaurant. Food was quite good, but nothing special. Caesar salad little dressing and a bit boring.
