We're back in Ortigia for the 3rd time! Many changes to the area, but the food at Do Scogghiu can't be beat! Make your reservation online. Food & true original recipes are wonderful!!! We've eaten at Do Scogghiu both times we have gone to Ortigia. The food is wonderful! Fresh & full of flavor! The owner & staff were accommodating & friendly. We will go back!

The owner is friendly and welcoming. The pasta with sea urchins and bottarga is excellent. Prices are reasonable. I recommend it.

07/10/2025: Located right at the beginning of the fish market. We were lucky and got a table for four right away. It was busy and bustling. Inside, it's a delicatessen with all the ingredients you can also eat in the restaurant. Highly recommended.
05/10/2025: Very good sandwich shop. Friendly atmosphere in the market. Good grocery products.

17/09/2025: Fantastic seafood tagliolini The oysters are also fantastic Service by Angelo, who gives advice and pampers you with kindness Fair prices The only flaw: it's a bit off the beaten path and isn't easy to pass by since it's not on the main street.
