We came across Soul Cake by chance while we were passing through – and it was an absolute stroke of luck! Because of a road closure we got lost in the town and decided to take a lunch break here. As soon as we entered the café, we were greeted by the cozy atmosphere and the inviting smell of freshly baked delicacies. The pastries on offer here are simply heavenly. From juicy cakes to delicate Danish pastries, everything is prepared with attention to detail and tastes fantastic. Particularly noteworthy is the fresh, authentic quality of the ingredients, which you can taste in every bite. We were also impressed by the lunch menu. The selection of dishes is small but fine - just the right thing for a tasty and quick meal. The food is freshly prepared, tasty and served attractively. There is something for every taste and the price-performance ratio is right across the board. The location is perfect for a short break in transit and is used by numerous motorcyclists. It is conveniently located and easy to find, making it an ideal stop for travelers. The spontaneous visit was definitely worth it for us and we can only recommend it. If you're in the area, you shouldn't miss the opportunity to take a break here and enjoy the culinary delights.

Every time we drive through Chiavenna we stop here and treat ourselves to a sweet espresso. And every time we are sure to come back at the next opportunity. It just fits!

Great coffee, attentive, friendly and helpful staff, nice selection of pizzas and focaccias and a huge choice of pastries and cakes!!!! All very tasty indeed. And the place is open despite of the so common siesta time in Italy between 15:00 - 19:00. Toilets are clean and spacious too. Do not forget to go onto a little bridge located less than 100 meters away for some beautiful views!! Overall score: 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
