Good, simple little restaurant. The fireplace where they cook the meat is very beautiful, open on two sides, the kitchen and the dining room. It's a charming little village.

A Sunday dedicated to typical Umbrian cuisine.
In this historic restaurant, we savored authentic traditional cuisine, homemade pasta and fire-grilled meat. Everything was delicious.
Excellent value for money.

Excellent cooking and service.
I had mutton gnocchi and my wife mutton polenta.
But first, truffle crostini.
To finish, pizza under the fire with vegetables and sausage.
A quarter of a red wine and a glass of water. Coffee and a Gentian.
Seeing is believing.

The atmosphere of times gone by and the ancient village setting aren't necessarily a sign of culinary excellence. Those of a certain age and fond of the flavors of the past won't confuse them with today's fake imitations; those products likely no longer exist. The positive assessment remains for a place where the food is good, but the real pizza sotto lu focu tasted of smoke and crunched under the teeth; this one is more like the good white pizza from the neighborhood bakery.

Traditional cuisine restaurant. Let's start with the appetizers... good but not excellent, in the sense that I expected good pecorino cheese and not bland sliced cheese, supermarket-quality cured meats, and excellent meat crostini, a truly special pâté reminiscent of ancient recipes.
Excellent first courses!!!!! Excellent quality gnocchi... congratulations!!!!
Torta al testo... good, but unfortunately, it had baking powder.
Sausages and meats were well-cooked and good. Tudernum wine... not up to par, it's not house wine and not good. Excellent desserts!!!!!
Excellent service, clean and professional!!!
Typical and stunning location!

Since 1978, Ristorante Sorelle Pesciaioli has preserved the authentic soul of traditional Umbrian cuisine in a rustic, family-friendly atmosphere. Founded by Roberto Pesciaioli on the principles of authentic rural tradition, it is now run by his daughters Simona and Manola with the same respect for its origins.
The menu is a timeless journey of flavor, faithful to the founder's philosophy: homemade first courses such as pappardelle with truffles and strangozzi, mixed grills of local meats, stubbed sausages, and the renowned "pizza sotto lu focu." This, the restaurant's signature dish, is still cooked in the centuries-old fireplace over embers and ash, topped with seasonal local ingredients.
The menu is characterized by generous portions, strictly local products, and a seasonal offering, with the addition of delicacies such as mushrooms and truffles in autumn. A selection of Umbrian wines and local digestifs completes the experience.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a space seating approximately 50 people dominated by the central fireplace. The 2026 Gambero Rosso Award has brought national recognition, confirming the excellence of a place where tradition is not a memory, but a daily practice.
Perfect for those seeking an authentic Umbrian culinary experience, far removed from trends, in a family-friendly setting where rustic quality and history are evident in every dish.

It's a shame about the bad lighting. The table linens need updating. The food was good.
