We had lunch yesterday, Saturday, and being passing through we booked a table for 4 (2 adults and 2 children), about 15 minutes before. We parked along the road a little further on.
Rustic but welcoming place, with hanging hams and bacons, wines on display, original lamps and various antique objects.
In the center there is a large fireplace which, together with a pellet stove, heats the room.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
EXCELLENT FOOD, I WOULD SAY SUBLUME! All served in beautiful artisan dishes. Personally I appreciated the cloth table linen, including the napkin.
Mixed starter of cured meats good and plentiful, so much so that we divided it in two. We recommend the fried cheese accompanied by honey.
As for the first courses, they were all delicious: fettuccine with ragù, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and pappardelle with Cinta Senese ragù. These courses were also plentiful.
Next we ate a medium-cooked cut of beef, with baked potatoes and chicory. Very soft and tasty meat!
In short... we will definitely be back!
The only flaw perhaps was that the tables were too close to each other, but we were still able to put the stroller in another area.

A place with a history and a significant name.
Very welcoming and characteristic of its kind. Fabulous, hand-painted dinner sets.
Good meat but pasta that leaves a little to be desired.
A quarter of Umbrian, I must admit that the truffle wasn't very tasty, and for the cost of the dish perhaps it could have been a bit more, the fresh pasta hadn't cooked enough to actually lose the flavor of fresh pasta raw so the seasoning was loose, furthermore it had not been creamed at all.
The mozzarella wasn't fresh. Unfortunately there was a fizz between the tongue and palate. All in all, I'm happy I finally went, but honestly I expected much better quality for the name it has (although several people I spoke to following the dinner claim that the food was better a couple of years ago)

Excellent restaurant that continues the culinary traditions of the area. Wild boar, porcini mushrooms, artichokes and meat are their specialties. Bon appetit 😉

Esperienza non totalmente negativa, ma sicuramente c’è di meglio, l’impressione che lascia è che la voglia di guadagno sia superiore a quella di soddisfare il cliente.
Prezzi decisamente alti per la qualità effettiva dei prodotti.
Menù molto scarni, dove non sono specificati gli ingredienti dei piatti e soprattutto, cosa ben più grave, gli allergeni.
Il servizio non è particolarmente empatico, anzi rimane distaccato e non dà informazioni in merito ai piatti, fin troppo veloce, si ha la sensazione di voler essere cacciati per far posto al prossimo tavolo.
Primi piatti nella norma, buoni, ma leggermente insipidi, antipasto di salumi bocciato, gli affettati sembrano vecchi.
Peccato perché un tempo era un punto di riferimento nella zona.
