At first glance, we thought the place was closed, but it quickly turned out it was simply full, so we had to wait a few minutes to get in. However, the waitress rose to the occasion and took our orders right in the queue. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and you can feel the atmosphere of an Italian restaurant. I highly recommend it!

We consulted the good rating and it confirmed it. The pasta is handmade and the choices are enough and at very good prices. Value for money is the entire menu and drinks. Nice atmosphere and coolness. Space for 14 people with tables that rotate. Excellent choice after the tour of the Vatican.

The pasta was good but the caramel pannacotta was a disaster. Too sweet and completely overwhelmed the taste comparing to other flavor.

The restaurant is small and the service is quick. It was the best gastronomic experience during my stay in Rome. I recommend it.

If our experience is of any use to you, that will be the only positive aspect of our lunch. We were forced to choose our dish on the sidewalk with no possibility of changing it once we arrived inside. This might have been understandable, except that we were only invited into the restaurant two minutes later… Inside, there are five small tables and very uncomfortable high chairs for a restaurant that, apparently, has such a reputation… A waiter spent his time watching us eat (in an oppressive manner) and didn't hesitate to ask us to vacate the table even though we had barely finished… With the number of good restaurants available in Rome, it's a shame to waste time and money here.

I’d seen this restaurant was highly recommended and it looked so lovely we decided to risk waiting for one of the few tables. We came early and were rewarded by a quick wait and arguably the best seats in the house! The atmosphere is intimate in such a small space and feels very romantic and charming. The charm was matched in the servers. One of the waitresses came out while we were queuing to take our order and that meant our food was served impressively quickly. And my goodness were the recommendations right! Stunning pasta and the lasagne I ordered was divine: fresh pasta sheets and rich ragu. We finished off with the compulsory tiramisu and left the restaurant simply content. If you can get there early or don’t mind a queue, do go here!

I visited this restaurant twice during my stay in Rome. The lasagna and Gorgonzola gnocchi were especially delicious.

Traditional food, great taste, great quality. Good atmosphere, good value for money.

Not only is the restaurant near the Vatican but legit food. I felt welcomed and the lasagna was amazing.

My favorite spot in Rome! The staff is so nice, except for the owner which is the tall guy who always has stupid comments and is kinda rude but the whole experience is so authentic I would really hate to not have him there. He is also pretty funny sometimes. The only problem with the menu I have is that some of the things I can never try because those that I already tried are so good. I've been coming back here for a few years, each time I visit Rome and I will continue to do so.
