After a long time we managed to return to this restaurant we tried way back in 2020, shortly after the end of the pandemic.
We returned to Sappada knowing that it had recently snowed and there wasn't the confusion of the weekend. After 4 steps into the village we sat down and took;
Mixed cheese and cured meat platter for 2
House dish with polenta, sausage, sauerkraut and frico.
Water and red wine
2 coffees
Normal dishes of good quality.
Clean and fully equipped facilities.
Kind and attentive service.

Small hut right at the foot of the Sappada black slope. Courteous and helpful staff. It offers a large variety of drinks, very good dishes and at a great price for a brunch or lunch.

Complimenti al Sig. Vincenzo è al suo staff che ho avuto piacere di conoscere in occasione di un pranzo allo skibar.
Ottima organizzazione, cibo buono, servizio veloce, personale gentilissimo e premuroso.
Sarà il punto di riferimento per pranzare in occasione di altri soggiorni a Sappada.

A wonderful experience! We booked for 2. When we arrived, a nicer table had just become available and they did us the courtesy of putting us there without even asking. a nice gesture much appreciated which gave us excellent expectations for the evening, confirmed by the dishes. As a first course, we ordered the gnocchi with venison ragout and the onion soup of the day. Both were very flavorful and delicious. As a second triptych of frico and grilled deer, both with polenta. The polenta was very creamy, I really liked it, even though I'm not a big polenta lover. the three types of frico were perfect, the different consistencies were a pleasure on the palate. The venison was very tender and delicious. unfortunately we were too full for dessert. We will definitely be back, UNIQUE value for money. We spent an excellent evening as a couple in a welcoming mountain atmosphere. really super satisfied 🫶🏻🫶🏻
