29/09/2024: Ideal solution for sleeping in Cogne. Structure with modern design and thorough cleaning. Helpful and trained staff.

16/08/2024: We stayed one night; In reality, more than a hostel, it is a kind of refuge, super clean and comfortable (although they are bunk beds). The good: - Excellent facilities for its price (in addition to the room, you pay €3 tourist tax per person). The most economical in Cogne. - Tempered; we are not cold at all - The rooms are clean, with enough plugs, light and lockers. - The staff is friendly and speaks (a little) English - They allowed us to store backpacks after check-out at no cost. - Next door there is only one restaurant but it is very good, 10% off if you stay here - You can leave things in your refrigerator. There is no kitchen. As a possible drawback, - reception closes from 12 to 3 p.m.! BEWARE, because you will not be able to enter; It's not just that checkin' is not allowed at that time but that the hostel remains CLOSED. (We arrived in the rain and luckily someone opened the door for us, but it was just luck). - It is a 20-minute walk from Cogne, with a bit of a slope, but the free bus also serves (direction Gimillan) at least in summer - We don't have breakfast (thank goodness), because it seems bad to me. All packaged. Better to go down to town and have breakfast there, or bring things and store them in the refrigerator. It will be better!
