I've tried several pizzerias in Monopoli, and I can confidently say that this meal at Sir Special Italian Roots is the best pizza in Monopoli so far.

Highly recommended place for celiacs and gluten intolerants. They have been part of the AIC since 2021. Maximum attention to contamination. Gluten-free pizza with dough prepared by them. Really good.

Location molto carina, menu molto bello ma sopratutto chiaro, patatine fritte non croccanti quasi crude, pizza mi aspettavo qualcosa di più, sopratutto nella grandezza in sé, personale preciso e disponibile .

Very nice place, very clear and understandable menu, easy to choose, French fries not very crunchy, for a moment I thought they were raw, I expected more from the pizza especially its size!

16/03/2026: A typical trattoria, just what we were looking for! Prices, service, and food quality are truly excellent. Let's hope it never changes! I didn't take any photos because I was busy trying everything that came to the table first! 😂

Pizzeria Al Sorchiapone

25/02/2026: Really interesting pizzas, new and with a wide variety of options (suitable for all palates). The outside location is a bit cold (even though they had "mushrooms" and "couvertures"). The service is a bit slow; we waited over an hour just for appetizers. Overall, though, it's a place we'll return to.
11/02/2026: Excellent pizza in a meticulously maintained location. Prompt and courteous service. Highly recommended!
