We have been in Italy for almost three weeks, had gelato almost everyday and this is the hands down best gelato ever. Just a simple vanilla gelato is so pure and fresh. Chef Nicola who owns the place did a gelato workshop with us and he is so patient with the kids. He added Inulin as the binder and inulin is very good for the gut. All his ingredients are fresh and real, nothing artificial. We saw the milk he used to make the gelato and it’s so thick and creamy. Highly recommend anyone who is stopping by Montepulciano to come to his stall to check out the gelato.

The best pistachio ice cream I ever eat. I visit Montepulciano every year just for that gelato. ❤️

The best gelato anywhere! Both classic and some unexpected flavor combinations ~ all delicious. The owner, Nicola, has an incredible commitment to fresh, natural ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. We make sure to stop every time we’re in town (usually more than once 😁). Also when we’re in Pienza and now San Quirico D’Orcia too!

Estoy sorprendido de que alguien le dio a este lugar una crítica negativa. Quizás están acostumbrados a la gelación que se bombea llena de aire o a aquellos que no usan ingredientes frescos y de temporada. ¡No puedo decir lo suficiente sobre lo maravilloso que fue este helado! Tomamos una clase de helado en Montepulciano y lo disfrutamos a diario en Pienza. Nicola y su personal es cálido y amable. Es muy conocedor de la historia del helado, lo que lo hace diferente de los lugares más comercializados, etc. tenía nada menos que 10 sabores en el menú diario. Muchos de los cuales eran diferentes e inventivos. Este es el gelato que medí cada dos gelatos a lo largo del resto de mi viaje. ME ENCANTA esta gelatina!
