Sette Tavoli In Bologna

If you’re looking for a trattoria style place this is definitely the one! The atmosphere was perfect from the first step into the vicinity, the dining room was decorated with traditional wooden cabinets and walls adorned with vintage posters, it felt like having lunch at grandma’s. Apart from that, the food was also very good, super comforting and rich & flavourful at the same time. I’d highly recommend visiting, can’t wait to be back! (I’d suggest booking in advanced because there are only 7 tables, as per the name)

Nice location, perfect table setting. And, if you're wondering, there are actually seven tables! Menu with a good choice of dishes and a large selection of wines. They brought us an entrée of mortadella mousse which was quite good. The cotoletta alla bolognese appetizer didn't convince me: the meat was a little too tough, and the breading came off the meat too easily. I then had the tortellini, which I found exquisite (reason for the final 3 stars). Finally, I wasn't crazy about the tiramisu: lots of mascarpone, not enough biscuit. The waiting staff were prepared and kind, but the service was too slow, especially when taking the order. Prices were quite high considering the quality of the offer

The name of the restaurant means 7 tables, and it is a small restaurant with 7 tables :) It was a place with a Christmas atmosphere! The wine was excellent! The steak was so-so

Really good. Quick pre-theater dinner.

An experience that left us with a slight bitter taste in our mouth, alas. We had high expectations for this dinner, also thanks to past experiences in the same restaurant, which had left everyone satisfied. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same this time. The location is very nice and unique, the welcome and hospitality are in perfect Bolognese style, but the only real "problem" was the cuisine. The dishes we tasted were not poorly executed nor had an unpleasant taste, apart from a completely burnt and bitter sauce, according to one of the diners. The real problem, however, was the lack of character or personality in the dishes. Little risk and little creativity: the menu plays on well-known elements, proposed in a classic key and with little creative flair. Let's say they have remained in a zone of safety and comfort that does not make them stand out, and this, unfortunately, culminates in an easily forgettable experience. Great disappointment especially for the dessert I ordered: millefeuille deconstructed with diplomatic cream and salted caramel. Of the various pastry scraps presented on the plate, only one was truly crunchy, while the others were completely flavorless and soft, which suggests that they had not been prepared on the same day or, in any case, had been poorly preserved. The cream was acceptable, but the caramel did not have any savory connotations, contrary to what was described on the menu. The only truly interesting and pleasant note was that of the amuse-bouche, a very tasty welcome and appreciated by all of us. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I will willingly visit them again, and this is a great disappointment, considering the past experiences full of taste and good memories.

A truly lovely experience- great food, lovely atmosphere. The chicken parm, duck, and tarte tatin were truly gorgeous- However just go for the tasting menu, you’ll be happy you did! Can’t fault the excellent service, cosy atmosphere, and great wine pairings. An exceptional dining experience!

Buon ristorante con veramente sette tavoli... Cucina tradizionale e ricercata con ottimi sapori. Locale adatto per cene di coppia. Perfetto per chi deve andare al Teatro Duse. Ottimo e cordiale il servizio
