Sesamo Pizza e Cucina In Roma

In the three times I've been here, I've tried the Stagionato (my favorite of the two) and Forestale burgers, and slices of zucchini and scamorza pizza, and sausage and mushroom pizza with a creamy sauce, I think, but definitely better than I'd expect if anyone told me. At this point, I think whatever they make is super good. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to preparation; from what I've heard, most of the things they serve or use as toppings are homemade (and this also makes a big difference; for example, the mushrooms on the pizza didn't even look like mushrooms to me, but then you taste it and they melt in your mouth and are cooked in a special way, not just thrown on there... or the pizza base isn't the one you find almost everywhere, and every now and then you eat it, you also taste that pinch of salt that is the icing on the cake). They also offer a nice variety of things to eat (for example, even cold pasta for those who want a lighter option), and each of these has different variations. However, I'd be very curious to try their vegan options other than the usual veggie burgers; I'm sure they'd increase their customer base considerably. The two guys serving are friendly, kind, and welcoming; they also have good taste in music, and are definitely passionate and talented. Highly recommended.

A real lifesaver to come across this place on a day when our hot and tired kids wanted burgers, NOT PIZZA, and I wanted pizza, NOT BURGERS. Thankfully, we found Sesamo - where both were excellent and the service was helpful and friendly. The pizza was some of my favorite in Rome - crispy, great ingredients and flavor. I had to try several kinds!

Excellent restaurant, great value for money, especially for the pizza slices (you can eat well for €3-5). The pizza burgers are very good but naturally more expensive. There's limited seating inside (only about 8 seats) but we highly recommend it!

I tried the FORESTALE combo menu. The bread was very good. The ingredients inside were perfectly balanced and delicious. I definitely recommend it.

I love it here. Such a charming little place to grab a lunch. Amazing burgers and I'm yet to try the pizza but it looks incredible! This is my second time here and I will be by again. I think this will be my primary lunch spot while I visit Roma

I'm always a bit sceptical of places with high ratings but this one definitely deserves them 🫶 the staff were very friendly and accommodating despite the hot weather. It's not overpriced like a few places I've been to around Italy, they play good music, and the food was spot on! I went for the fungi pizza which is weighed and priced so you can choose how much you would like. It was so tasty, I then had seconds. Next I had one with aubergine, tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil, and one with courgette and anchovies. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Rome 🇮🇹
