A small, welcoming restaurant with a refined ambiance and a pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the cuisine is excellent: the first courses are truly well-executed, and the second courses are top-notch. The tagliata steak, cooked to perfection and prepared with excellent, top-quality, certified Chianina beef, is particularly noteworthy. The homemade desserts are also delicious. The wine list is also impressive, extensive and well-stocked. A place where you can truly enjoy your meal and is well worth returning to.

excellent dinner, we had the tagliatelle with mushrooms and the saffron gnocchi, both good and tasty, the trio of cheeses with honey and jam was really excellent, warm and welcoming atmosphere and helpful waiting staff, a beautiful evening!!

Despite the late hour, after 2 PM, we were greeted with a smile at this lovely restaurant in the historic center of Castiglione del Lago. The chefs offer traditional homemade dishes. We were two couples and chose four different first courses, all excellent: pici with Chianina ragù, saffron and cheese gnocchi, and pici all'aglione (a type of garlic, but much more delicate, as the chef explained). The desserts, all homemade, were delicious, including the cantuccini, rich in almonds, the pear and chocolate tart, and the tiramisu. Good value for money.
Highly recommended.

Strolling along the main street in Castiglione del Lago, I immediately noticed this small restaurant, with old-fashioned tables like the rest of the restaurant. A style that took me back in time, and that's exactly what dining here means: remembering traditions, ancient dishes, and the deliciousness of pasta made on the open-plan pastry board. You feel right at home at Sunday lunch, and it was excellent, with a beautiful platter just right for two, masterfully made pici with garlic, saffron gnocchi, and a delicious tiramisu. Good wine, impeccable service, the staff always smiling, and the price was right.

We went to this restaurant for dinner. I recommend making a reservation because it's small and doesn't have many tables.
What can I say? The food was delicious! We ordered starters and then shared a tagliata.
The pasta is homemade, as are the desserts! Delicious!
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was very quick.
The quality/price ratio was more than fair.
Highly recommended!
