We entered this restaurant to book and were greeted with unique warmth. The ladies were busy preparing the pasta by hand and that already gave us a good impression. The staff was courteous and the wait to eat was quite short. We took the saffron gnocchi (two plates), a portion of potatoes and a bottle of water spending a total of 39 euros. The gnocchi were spectacular to the point that we cleaned the plates with bread and the same can be said for the potatoes. Beautiful memory of our visit to Castiglione del Lago. Thank you. 😀

Small but very welcoming place, with outdoor tables...really excellent food and the pasta has a truly unique flavour...well worth the wait...I highly recommend 😉

Bellissimo ristorante nel centro di Castiglione del Lago. Le massaie fano la sfoglia a vista e la pasta va assaggiata assolutamente. super scelta di primi e di secondi. Si mangia molto bene e il personale è veramente gentile. Si raccomanda la prenotazione

Small but welcoming environment. The service was courteous. We didn't like the bruschetta with pâté from the starter. Excellent pici with ragù and cappellacci.

We were passing through, and it was after 2pm. We asked if the kitchen was open, they let us in and sit down. The place is small, well furnished with a beautiful cellar on display, I was very impressed by the chef who arrived at the table for the reservation, very very kind. The main dish is the pasta, and both first courses were good (saffron gnocchi and cappellacci with bean cream, crispy bacon and salted ricotta. The local platter is not a bad starter for 2, with the truly delicious beans all'uccelletto.

Not much to say, a lot of stuff! Exquisite artisanal pasta, I absolutely recommend trying their Cappellacci. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, relaxing atmosphere and well-furnished location.

06/07/2025: Very suggestive location, especially in the evening. The staff is really welcoming and pampers you throughout the evening; the dishes recall typical products and high quality raw materials are used. I suggest this restaurant to have this wonderful experience!

20/06/2025: In a small town (Torgiano) there is this tavern managed with care and passion. Very knowledgeable and sociable waiter explained the agreements to us with competence and professionalism. No problem with our little dog and well-made place in the greenery. On an evening in June we had a great time. On the menu few dishes but very well done. Absolutely to try
20/06/2025: In un piccolo paese (Torgiano) c’è questa osteria gestita con cura e passione. Cameriere molto preparato e socievole ci ha illustrato i patti con competenze e professionalità. Nessun problema con il nostro cagnolino e posto nel verde fatto bene. In una serata di giugno siamo stati molto bene. Nel menù pochi piatti ma fatti molto bene. Assolutamente da provare
