The scottadito? And where is it? I find out that it is in Bevagna. I want to try it and I find a place that could be very nice if you don't find more than a hundred people for dinner and then you think that the food should be good. A waiter arrives and runs from one table to another, takes the orders, the appetizer arrives quickly, then disappears for over an hour and finally comes back with a cold slice of steak and with parmesan cheese, not flakes but grated, and the vegetables too. Negative experience, not to be recommended.

A small, rustic but super welcoming place. The staff is kind and friendly, and the service is quite fast. Everything is delicious, from the cured meats and cheeses to the meat platters. Super fair prices and excellent food.

I am a meat lover and must say that this was one the best meat places. It tasted delicious. Prices are amazing too. Only thing you need is to be patient with the service as it is a busy place but atleast it all pays off.

Every time I return to Scottadito in Bevagna, it's a sure thing, but the real star of the evening is always their meat. I've tried various cuts, from Florentine steak to sliced ​​beef, and every time the cooking is simply impeccable, masterfully showcasing the flavors and tenderness of the raw material. The quality is exceptional and is evident in every bite, making the experience a true sensory journey. But the beauty doesn't end there. The wine menu offers a carefully curated and extensive selection, with particular attention to local grapes that pair beautifully with the meat specialties. I had the opportunity to taste a Montefalco Sagrantino that paired perfectly with my dish, and the staff is always ready to recommend the right wine for every taste. It's a pleasure to see a wine list that isn't just a list, but a true celebration of flavors. I highly recommend booking well in advance, as a dining experience of this caliber is highly sought after, and rightfully so!

One word: sublime. You don't often find meat like this, and almost never at such a fair price. The tagliata seemed to melt in your mouth and had a flavor I hadn't remembered in years. The grilled potatoes were a real Madeleine, and the platter of cured meats and cheeses spoke of farmers and pork butchers who truly love what they do. They don't have an outdoor terrace like most places in the city; you eat inside under two large ceiling fans, so it's a bit warm in August, but it's absolutely worth it! The service was very competent and friendly. It's a shame we only discovered it at the end of our holiday; otherwise, we would have returned every night to try every offering on the menu. 😋
