Scorzonera is one of my favorite places; I return often and it's a sure thing every time! The place is beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming; it's truly a pleasure. As a celiac, I can say that the food here is truly delicious and completely safe, which is not something to be taken for granted. The attention to detail, selection, and quality are top priority. A special thanks to Rosario, who always makes the difference: he's incredibly kind, polite, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. He always welcomes you with a smile and makes you feel at home. A special place, where I always love to return!

We went to Scorzonera in Nicolosi for a group dinner, and the experience was perfect in every way. We had a large table, a situation that often creates difficulties for restaurants, but here the management was impeccable. The quality of the food is excellent. The pizzas and other dishes on the menu were top-notch, demonstrating a remarkable attention to the raw materials. Despite the restaurant being packed and many of us, the service was incredibly fast and precise. The pizzas arrived almost simultaneously, hot and perfect. A special mention and heartfelt thanks goes to the waiter Rosario. Finally, I want to emphasize the great attention Scorzonera pays to customers with specific dietary needs. It's a relief to know we can count on such a dedicated restaurant. We will definitely be back soon.

Excellent pizza, huge and tasty, and a good value. Fast and impeccable service. The restaurant is large and comfortable, both inside and out. On this occasion, I noticed a significant increase in the prices of the restaurant's dishes, although the portions remained more than adequate. My only complaint: the person who took my reservation was rather rude, perhaps because the restaurant is always busy and they don't care about being friendly with those who call to reserve a table.

A well-deserved 5 stars. Let's start with the kindness and professionalism of the wait staff. We arrived without a reservation, and the gentleman in charge of arranging the tables, whose name I don't know, told us he could only seat us inside (with the air conditioning), but I explained that I had come up to Nicolosi specifically for fresh air. With great professionalism and kindness, he accommodated us and placed us outside. His ability to please his customers is top-notch. Let's move on to the location. The place is very well-kept, both inside and out. Food: since we all ordered the pizzas, I can only comment on those. They were huge, but with a light crust and excellent ingredients. But I must say that the meat dishes also looked excellent and were prepared with care. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I'd conclude by recommending this place to anyone looking for a cool, relaxed evening enjoying excellent food.

Ho trascorso una serata inaspettata. A Nicolosi per lavoro. Scoperto per caso questo locale. Ambiente raffinato con una ottima accoglienza. Servizio eccellente garbato e cortese. Ma la protagonista è stata la pizza con impasto ai cereali. Friabile e soffice. Gli ingredienti di altissima qualità. Mi sono sentito coccolato come nella mia Napoli. Ci ritornerò

Trovo molto buone le loro pizze, anche se le reputo “old style”, almeno rispetto a quello che offre lo standard di Catania. Molto buono anche il servizio, prezzi nella media.

09/07/2025: On the occasion of a very special occasion, we decided to visit a very well-known and renowned restaurant in our city for dinner. It's located in the historic center, right on a street that connects Piazza Lionardo Vigo, adjacent to the church dedicated to the co-patron saint, San Sebastiano, to the Piazza del Duomo, overlooked by the Acireale Town Hall and the Cathedral. Because it's summer, the pizzeria moves all its seating outside, in a small green villa overlooking the square. We were greeted by a very young, yet expert, competent, and above all friendly staff. After a reasonable wait, we received a portion of classic, simple French fries and then two pizzas: a "Norma" and a "Profumata." We enjoyed all three courses because they were prepared in a reasonable amount of time, with impeccable ingredients and cooking, which truly satisfied our taste buds. Despite the very common products, tradition and quality, as always, outweigh innovation and originality when not combined. The restaurant is fully equipped, even inside, and the menu offers a wide selection of dishes, divided by category, as well as traditional desserts from our local cuisine. The bill was also absolutely reasonable for what we ordered and the service we received from all the staff, even when making our reservation. The quiet and simple yet formal atmosphere, along with the excellent dinner offered, made this moment of remembrance an occasion we will never forget. We at MG Reviews recommend Vecchia Aci for any need, because everything is systematically tailored to your convivial setting. We noticed this in our situation and also observed it at the tables adjacent to ours, which were seated by a very diverse group of people. Everything listed above is simply the result of particular attention to management, organization, and expertise in the sector in various aspects, such as supervision, collaboration with other staff members, dedication, and listening to the customer; in this way, they manage to feel appreciated.
