My partner and I accidentally found this restaurant on our evening stroll and it was a blessing. Nice service, nice culture, good food, good prices. 1000% recommend. We had the Quattro formagi pizza - AMAZING! and the tuna pasta with tomato sauce and mint - such a fruity, fresh, light meal - SO good!

Let's start with the venue, as always. The place is crazy, it seems like you're taking a boat into a cave. Really suggestive. However, the restaurant is informal and suitable for families. The room on the right is highly recommended: more intimate. The service is sufficient, sometimes too slow. I would recommend more attention to serving women first. I have been hosted several times in this place, so regarding food I feel absolutely able to recommend the typical first courses of Roman cuisine (especially the carbonara which is divine). The main courses and side dishes leave something to be desired: avoid the fried foods because every time I have ordered them they have always been too greasy.

Cercavamo un posto che fosse vicino al nostro alloggio. Appena entrati ci siamo trovati catapultati in un’atmosfera marina molto suggestiva. Il personale è stato molto gentile per tutta la serata. La pizza veramente ottima, buono anche il ragù e il baccalà. Sicuramente un posticino molto carino con una buona cucina

08/07/2024: Historic Roman restaurant in the northern Rome area. Traditionally excellent quality food, for generations (which is not always a given)! Excellent choice of Roman classics, with the pleasant rediscovery of some typical ones, such as the "picchiapo'", in many cases forgotten (here among other things performed splendidly, in my opinion; in the few places that offer it it is almost always "watery" !). I have never had the opportunity to drop by on a Friday or Saturday evening for the musical event, but knowing the property I certainly imagine a very positive opinion. A few small "notes": the supplì...; come on guys you can definitely "do better"...! Furthermore, the choice of desserts (always of excellent quality) is rather limited (as I have already reported to the excellent Alberto, the last offspring of the historic owner family). Last consideration: "excellent" quality/price ratio! I really can't understand how there could have been criticism about it..., Dunno!
14/06/2024: Decent restaurant, good mozzarella and starters... bruschetta not excellent. First courses and meat are also decent.

18/05/2024: Excellent bar, equipped with all services, tobacconists, lottery, telephone top-ups, bill payment, parcel collection point, practically everything! Outdoor tables, delicious croissants and stuffed sandwiches.
