Nice restaurant with very tasty food

Very nice place, large, full.. all the surroundings are very well looked after, excellent oil at the table, truly extraordinary bread. On the dishes a bit meh... little raw and poorly seasoned, good tuna but quite depersonalized in taste, the note of caper is totally absent. In short, not memorable. Risotto unbalanced on sweet and cold. Braised cheek good but cold too. Evidently difficult to maintain quality and temperatures at the highest levels with so many seats. It's still pretty good, certainly not exceptional apart from the bread (really top, well done)

I recently visited a fantastic restaurant in Torino, and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I sat down, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with a menu that showcased everything great about Italian cuisine. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. But the real star of the meal? The panna cotta. It was the kind of dessert that makes you pause after the first bite. Creamy and perfectly set, it had just the right amount of richness without being heavy. The drizzle of honey on top added a natural sweetness that tied everything together beautifully. Honestly, it was the best panna cotta I’ve ever had—simple, classic, and unforgettable. If you’re in Torino, this place is a must-visit. The food is incredible, but that panna cotta? It’s worth the trip alone!

From how they talk about it on the web I expected a starred restaurant. Instead it is a genuine Turin piola, with quite affordable prices. The menu is varied, and many dishes are truly excellent (others, like the croquettes I ordered as a starter, are forgettable). It's a shame that booking at the weekend a week later is practically impossible...

Non sono piemontese perciò ero alla ricerca di cucina tipica locale nel corso di una mia breve sosta a Torino: ebbene chi mi ha consigliato lo “Scannabue” mi ha ben indirizzata. I piatti proposti nel menu degustazione li ho trovati favolosi per sapore, ingredienti e (non guasta) presentazione. Ottimo il servizio e il prezzo coerente. Bello il locale e piacevole la piazzetta in cui si trova. Lo consiglio volentieri. La prenotazione è secondo me d’obbligo.

Cucina piemontese rivisitata con gusto e senza esagerare. Attenzione agli ingredienti. Buona cantina. Locali caratteristici, personale gentile e non invadente. Non sarà un caso che tra i tanti ristoranti che compaiono e scompaiono nel giro di un paio d’anni questo duri da tempo.
