On of the best meals we had during out trip! We stumbled upon this place through recommendations, and now that we’ve tried it we would recommend it too! First of all, their dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Secondly, they offered comforting yet remarkable flavour combinations, my favourite was definitely the squid ink pasta. The tomato, the squid, and the bottarga melded together to create a perfect sauce that clings to the pasta, absolute perfection. They also served very good olive oil, be sure to enjoy it with their bread. Would love to pay another visit when the time comes, highly recommend!

Finally I can give 5 full stars! Ladies and gentlemen, memorize in any way the name of this restaurant that preserves and offers in an excellent way the culinary tradition of Turin. Any comment or judgment would be superfluous and certainly insufficient to give due credit to the quality expressed in this restaurant. It is useless to describe here the dishes that I had the privilege of tasting: trust me and book as soon as possible (if you can) to live a truly unforgettable experience.

We went there for dinner on the occasion of my son's graduation. We are from Puglia and therefore for us food is almost a religion. Excellent typical Piedmontese food, rustic but elegant environment and maximum attention to the table. You deserve 5 stars on everything.

Scannabue is located on a small square. We sat outside, and there is also plenty of room inside. Reservations are required. The food is wonderful. Exceptional flavours. Excellent wine advice. Nice portions. Extremely friendly service.

Following where to eat in a typical place of Turin or Piedmontese cuisine we discovered this restaurant we strongly recommend booking and once seated the senses and the palate enter another dimension the quality and excellent preparation of the food is indescribable if we were to return to Turin it will certainly be a restaurant to return to absolutely

Cercavamo un locale a mezzogiorno per un pranzo a base dei piatti tipici piemontesi, ebbene obiettivo centrato con risultato favoloso. Abbiamo optato per il menu della tradizione ( vitello tonnato, cappuccino di baccala, agnolotti del plin, guancia brasata e bonet) e tutti i piatti sono risultati veramente ottimi. Locale carino e personale molto cortese. Rapporto qualità prezzo onesto.

05/02/2025: A "bagna cauda", the classic Piedmontese winter sauce based on garlic, oil and anchovies, to be enjoyed in the characteristic "fujot", an earthenware stove powered by a lit flame to keep it warm, in which raw vegetables are dipped, such as cabbage, fennel, cardoons, celery, as well as other cooked ones, such as onions, peppers, potatoes, with the addition of tubers such as Jerusalem artichokes. This was followed by a splendid course of raw meat and the traditional dish of tajarin with butter. To finish, a hazelnut and zabaglione cake. All washed down with an excellent Nebbiolo. In the purest and most ancient tradition, with the same spirit of the past, when we gathered around the steaming cauldron and shared what the peasant land generously offered, as well as a unique and important convivial moment. A beautiful experience, which we renew year after year in a unique place for its hospitality and quality of raw materials and where, above all, we truly feel at home.
