A superb dinner! A restaurant in the village, refined yet simple, with tasty, well-prepared dishes and a superbly stocked wine cellar!!! Beef tartare with truffles was simply exceptional.

A true gem in the heart of Barga! Excellent cuisine, carefully crafted and rich in authentic flavors. Each dish is prepared with the highest quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is always ready to recommend the perfect wine and make guests feel at home. The welcoming and refined atmosphere is ideal for both a romantic dinner and a family lunch. A gastronomic experience not to be missed, highly recommended! 🍷🍝✨

This restaurant is very nice, but I can’t give it five stars. My husband ordered a salad and it looked and tasted like it came out of a bag. His steak was good but not great. On the other hand my truffle pasta was amazing. My side of sweet and sour baby onions was a delightful surprise. I ordered them out of curiosity and loved them!!! The service was great. Our waiter spoke English really well which was very helpful for us as our Italian isn’t the best.

Starters and wine where amazing. Steak was ice cold and after mentioning it, they just simply re heated it. So not medium rare as ordered. Ice cold plates….. the ginifaul was slightly bland. We got free shots, so that helped! Really sweet personal.

We went to this restaurant for dinner with friends. It's located in the center of Barga; you can park in the large parking lot near the hospital, which is very close. We ate meat and excellent porcini mushrooms. I had a tartare with raw porcini mushrooms; I must say the meat was excellent and seasoned simply yet flavorfully, one of the best I've ever had (and I've eaten a lot). Then there was a truly sublime fillet steak with an excellent selection of wines. Impeccable service.

Great food, super wines, attentive staff! İf you like truffels you’ve come to the right place. Super location in old part of Barga.

Exceptional restaurant. We enjoyed delicious truffle pasta, delicious wine, and excellent appetizers and desserts. The owner is very friendly and explained a lot about wine and truffles. Highly recommended. 5/5

Huge wine selection from absolute connoisseurs, transparency "in" the kitchen and a fantastic seasonal menu - currently with fantastic truffle pasta or steak and heavenly soufflé 🤌🏼

16/11/2025: In the center of Altopascio, in a quaint setting, we visited for lunch in mid-November 2025. The intimate, family-friendly restaurant welcomes you warmly and simply, introducing you to the restaurant's philosophy—primarily a spaghetti restaurant serving traditional and daily express dishes. For two, we chose tagliolini of the day (garlic, oil, and chili pepper with broccoli) and spaghetti alla pirata (similar to puttanesca, with olives and capers, spicy). We began with an excellent and generous appetizer of raw ham (Tuscan and flavorful, excellent) and freshly seasoned pecorino cheese. The appetizer was delicious, and the first courses were excellent (prepared on the spot and perfectly al dente). A quart of wine, water, and two coffees, for €47. Fast and discreet service. In short, an excellent stop for a traditional yet high-quality business lunch, although not cheap.
