Siamo stati a cena una sera in questo locale dopo aver visto le tante recensioni positive e le meravigliose foto dei vari viaggiatori. Ottimo pesce e con piatti molto ben preparati . Prezzi un po’ alti rispetto alla media e con servizio migliorabile .

If you are looking for a place to eat good fish in Palermo, Sardina Pasta Bar is the place for you. The place is nice and the menu offers tasty and original dishes, with very fresh ingredients. I tried the amberjack tartare, the cheviche and the spaghetti with sea urchins, and I must say that they were all delicious! The tartare was delicate and tasty, the cheviche had a particular taste and the spaghetti were super creamy. In general, Sardina Pasta Bar is a great place to eat fish in Palermo, with a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant little restaurant, recommended by our host, near the port. Careful and attentive service 2 glasses of mineral and aromatic white wine. 3 dishes, all very successful: Mixed pasta with Cream of Potatoes and smoked provola cheese Prawn of Nassa Guanciale and black pepper —> surprising land/sea/pasta mix but very successful Coconut Milk Risotto with cooked scampi and marinated lime Snapper and Red Shrimp in Ceviche with Stracciatella and Passion Fruit And for dessert to share Ricotta and Pear Cheesecake with Chocolate Sauce -> deadly chocolate but Oreo-style cheesecake crumbs. Dessert a little disappointing in the end

Excellent dinner with fresh ingredients, excellent pasta with fish (especially the one with cuttlefish ink, prawns and sea urchins) and generous portions. Prices a little above average but in line with the quality they offer. The place is very simple, the service attentive. We will definitely be back

We had our wedding anniversary lunch here yesterday. We've been travelling around Europe, mostly Italy for the past nine weeks… This is a big call but I would say it was the best meal we've had yet. I intend to go past it again today to get a photo of the menu so I can put some descriptions of the food that we enjoyed.

Great food, the raw fish dish is magical! The tests are great! The dessert is perhaps not so sophisticated, perhaps a bit evasive, but not impossible!

27/04/2025: I have to say we went for dinner as a two-person affair, based on the ratings. The person who initially served us told us there were tables by reservation only, so we made an online reservation right away, and another guy seated us at a small table. We didn't like this; from the start, with just two people, they could have served us better. Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was recommendable.
26/04/2025: Given that we arrived very late due to flight delays, they welcomed us into the restaurant that was now empty. The place is very small and characteristic, with objects from the period hanging on the walls that recall their history. They made us sit, at our request, at a table at the back of the place in an area without drafts. The floor was uneven and the table was wobbly. Wooden chairs and tables, nice, but the seat was uncomfortable, they would need cushions on the chairs. For the rest, the place was warm and welcoming. We ordered a couple of appetizers for four: cod and sardine meatballs. He had told us that they could be shared without problems, but when the dishes arrived we were amazed by the portions, non-existent if you want to share. However, both dishes were good. We ordered a caponata, beautiful to look at and equally good. Two first courses of fresh pasta alla norma, good and tasty; a margherita pizza, fresh ingredients and a dough that was not bad. Last but not least: Sicilian cannoli, the ricotta was fresh and not overly sweet, the wafer was crunchy. Fully approved. As for the wine, there is something to complain about. We ordered two glasses but it was too acidic; we also waited a bit for it to settle and re-evaluate but our opinion remained unchanged. About the service, almost nothing to say. Welcoming and they almost always put us at ease. It was not nice to witness their loud animated discussions and that every now and then we had to call them to get their attention. Another thing that was a bit annoying was towards the end of the evening that they always tried to check that the plates were empty to close the register and we didn't even get up, they were already sweeping the small room. To sum up: good food and average portions, quality of ingredients. Something to review in the room and in the service. For the price, average.
