I heard that Conad's souvenirs sold at the supermarket are cheap and good, so I went there and it was just like that.

It's cheap and good. Marvis toothpaste is also cheap. Only large size is available.

This branch of the Conad chain is located near Florence Central Station. It is a slightly smaller supermarket but with a sufficient range. Thanks to the many small checkouts, there are no waiting times after shopping. All goods are clearly sorted and there is a baking department with a good selection.

Loaded up on a lots of stuff. I found conad city to be most convenient. The prices are really competitive. One should not buy any groceries from other stores as they charge higher. You can get the same stuff on half prices at conad city stores. A lot of people were buying stuff there but Billing process was fast too.

It's good to buy almost everything you need. If you buy a lot of water here and carry it in your suitcase, you can save quite a bit. It's great for a late-night meal and good for replenishing daily necessities. It's also good to buy things like Mavis, rose water, and limoncello.

16/09/2024: Had a lovely dinner on the terrace with one of the most stunning sunsets. Perfect night, good food and excellent house red wine.
10/08/2024: I got the impression that the owner (I think English) is trying very hard to be Italian, but unfortunately that didn't really work out in terms of the taste and quality of the food.

02/02/2025: Overcooked tortellini, very friendly and helpful staff, the place is still in the shopping center with practically no separation from the people circulating I update the review to February 2nd, underlining that the children's menu cannot be modified due to unidentified company directives which strictly prevent the replacement of tagliatelle with meat sauce with tagliatelle with tomato. It seems like a joke to me, I would have preferred they had told me that they didn't actually have simple tomato sauce to season the pasta, not that "company directives don't allow it".
02/02/2025: Good fast food where you can eat something traditional from Emilia. Meat sauce is not always the same. Sometimes very good, other times less so (even in the garnish the hand is never the same). The female staff is always friendly and helpful (despite having to work every Saturday and Sunday). Chapeau. Then there's that Lambrusco Vecchia Modena which is just too clever a wine 🤪 Some new dishes. When should I have trifle as dessert?
