Sapori di Mare In Taormina

Vor 14 Jahren zum ersten Mal hier und jetzt wieder - im extrem touristischen und überteuerten Taormina eigentlich ein Geheimtipp: Vorzüglich zubereitetes Essen zu reellen Preisen (2 Personen mit Vorspeise, Wein und Dessert ca. 100 Euro), viele lokale Spezialitäten, sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer und notfalls auch englischsprachiger Service, wenn das Touristenitalienisch nicht ausreicht... Viele, wenn nicht überwiegend einheimische Stammgäste - hoffentlich bleibt das so!

We arrived at a time when everything was still closed. Very tasty frittura misto, large portion. My wife ordered the norm and it was equally delicious. Prices are slightly higher, but this is Taormina. Overall, it was worth it... we will gladly come back.

Great friendly place to have your evening meal :) They give spicy mix to add to pasta and i asked for carbonara with veggies instead of bacon, they accomodated my request happily. highly recommended - pasta alla norma. really tasty!

Cute place, nice decor, great food and service. The fish dishes and the pizzas are very good. Molto bene! :)

Very delicious spaghetti with seafood! Tasty wine. An atmospheric, cozy and charming place, so "Italian". I highly recommend it!

Wonderful typical Sicilian restaurant with great service 🌻 In our opinion, there is the best pizza 🍕 in the world!!! But the mussels or sausage in tomato sauce are also really recommended. We are guests here every year and enjoy everything🥰

Cozy atmosphere and good food at fair prices.

On the recommendation of the owner of our B&B, we had a really delicious meal here two evenings! Very nice place to sit. The staff is nice and quiet and friendly. We ate many different dishes from the menu. Everything was really delicious!! Thanks to the owner and employees for these two great evenings.

Sadly, this was our final night on this holiday in Taormina, and we decided to return here after our first visit on the first night of our holiday. We called-in here the previous day and made a table reservation, and I requested to have the same table as we had sat on the first night. All-in-all it had been a really good holiday: with extraordinary dining experiences, lovely wine, helpful people, and some great sightseeing too. In many ways we so enjoyed our first night’s experience here, that we just felt that we would say goodbye to Taormina, in same local family-style restaurant where it had began 7 nights previously. So, tonight we ordered a bottle of the same Grillo wine as we had enjoyed here on the first night. It was every bit as good as we remembered and was again much enjoyed. We also ordered a large bottle of natural mineral water. To start we both decided on the Prosciutto and Melon; the melon was fresh, ripe and juicy and the vey lean and soft ham was delicious, and it was a generous serving too. For mains my Partner chose Spaghetti Bolognaise: which she had not eaten, up to this point, on this holiday. ‘Spag-bol’ is possibly, behind pizza, the second most commonly eaten Italian dish eaten here in the UK. The plate did not disappoint. I chose the ‘Lasagne Forno’ (made with beef) which I had eaten only once-before on this holiday, like the first it was rich, hot and filling: a lovely last plate. We decided against desserts and we paid our bill, we thanked the waiting staff, and then we returned the short distance to our B&B, with satisfyingly full tummies.
