Refined environment but a little neutral and claustrophobic and with a somewhat obvious if not outdated design (I used the low cost red panels when I had few resources to create effective atmospheres). Friendly staff but a little too cold and affected. As regards food: excessive presence of carbohydrates (I eat the bread with oil at home, although it is of excellent quality and the squid ink arancino didn't excite me, it is often found better in street food) and few proteins (in HO scale). The proposed tasting path does not seem coherent to me when moving from one dish to another. Limited wine list with staff who influence (and not advise) your choice. I'm sorry, I may be limited, but I don't see any innovation and the only star rating is the price.

Love this place, great concept for the menu, and you can feel their love for food and flavours.
All the different kinds of breads were already a feast, and then each dish was top-quality. Very creative and connected to the local culture.
The recommended wines were super, and the non-alcoholic even better. I would want to motivate you to create a non-alcoholic pairing, it would be a great addition.
The staff is fantastic, keeping the flow going, always tidying the table, and a pleasant personal touch.
The wine list is smartly detailed on the Etna wines, great decision, with enough choices from other regions.
Definitely recommend this place and I also will definitely go back!

An excellent star restaurant with a generous and locally-focused cuisine - there is a suitable story for almost every dish, and the service presents the dishes with pride. The most important thing for me is the creative, versatile patisserie. The restaurant also has a unique interior. The service is very welcoming and attentive.

Overall a great experience in this starred restaurant, we chose the Sciaredda tasting menu, as often happens in such a long menu, finding a common thread is never easy, usually we remember the first and last courses, in fact that was the case! . We also declared our "notes" in person so as not to just be keyboard lions.
The wine list perhaps a little unbalanced on the territory and certainly "unbalanced" on prices, unfortunately, for those like us, wine is 50% of the experience it will be a reason not to return.

Wonderful culinary highlights alternate with every course - whether in the tasting menu or the vegetarian version. The fine flavors merge together
palate to an epicurean symphony. Very attentive service, stylish, nice but rather reduced atmosphere. An address that we remember and are happy to recommend.

Serata magnifica in un locale curatissimo; luci soffuse e musica a basso volume. Personale sorridente e sempre pronto. Spiegazioni di ogni piatto accuratissime. Ma soprattutto ... la cena! Una magnificenza. Sapori meravigliosi, connubi inaspettati, presentati in giusta sequenza. Se proprio si volesse trovare un cavillo, dovremmo chiedere perchè mai, per ogni piatto che arriva, ci hanno portato sia la forchetta che il cucchiaio. Ma sono solo stupidaggini. Assolutamente amichevole il consiglio sui vini da abbinare. Prezzi nella norma di queste altezze culinarie. Magnifico. Ci tornerò

Un pranzo in coppia, inaspettatamente emozionale e sensoriale….Sabato, 17 agosto, abbiamo deciso all’ improvviso di recarci da Sapio Ristorante, previa telefonata… Arrivati, siamo stati accolti da Andrea, garbatissimo e gentilissimo, il quale ci ha accompagnato al tavolo, facendoci sentire a nostro agio… Locale dal design studiato nei minimi dettagli, minimale ma allo stesso tempo con forte ed elegante personalità…
Ci è stato illustrata la possibilità di scegliere uno dei menù degustativi o il menù alla carta, per il quale abbiamo optato, essendo un pranzo veloce.
Abbiamo ordinato due primi, due dolci e due calici di vino terrazza dell’ Etna, consigliato dall’ esperto sommelier Francesco, gentile e garbato come il collega Andrea… Prima che arrivassero le nostre pietanze, siamo stati sorpresi dall’ aperitivo offerto, composto da 3 finger food eccezionali con del pane fragrante preparato dallo Chef, brioche leggermente salata ed un tortino di sfoglia, a dir poco incredibili … ogni piccolo componimento raccontato con magia, amore e passione, arrivando ai nostri primi, il risotto 7 anni, con latte di capra, liquirizia e scampi ed una pasta ai ricci con crema di latte, che ci hanno lasciati incantati, a livello sensoriale ed emozionale così come il sorbetto di limone e mele dell’ Etna, magistralmente concepito dal Maestro come anche i dolci, aliveddi, pane e ricotta …. Per finire dei piccoli dolcini offerti sempre, di una squisitezza incredibile….
Un’ esperienza sensoriale ed emozionale che ha toccato l’ anima per come si avvertono i sapori, la cura del dettaglio e l’ amore per la nostra tradizione e la nostra terra … Una rivisitazione suggestiva e magistrale, meritevole di nota e di ammirazione .
Complimenti allo Chef e al suo staff di cui si può esser estremamente orgogliosi …
Torneremo per la cena, optando per uno dei menù degustativi di cui siamo estremamente curiosi …
