Many thanks for a great evening! An outstanding menu with excellent products such as lobster, oysters, cod and truffles. The service was very friendly, extremely professional and attentive. They speak excellent English and the sommelier put together a great wine pairing for us. We had an unforgettable evening with a view of the kitchen! We were seated in the dining room due to a closed party. Overall, the ambience is very stylish and modern - including a temporary art exhibition. Thanks again to the chef, his team and the excellent staff (also for the tips for Palermo)!

A gastronomic experience that enhances the Sicilian tradition with an innovative and refined touch. Chef Alessandro Ingiulla's Sapio restaurant stands out for the excellent quality of the raw materials and impeccable attention to every detail.
Ravioli with mixed Sicilian pecorino cream: a dish that contains the authentic flavors of the island, balanced to perfection.
Oyster with black lentils: a surprising combination, well balanced between the flavor of the sea and the earth.
Lamb: simply sublime, with impeccable cooking and an enveloping flavour.
Seared cod: tender and delicate, enhanced by contrasts of flavors and textures that make it an extraordinary dish
All accompanied by excellent service, with an attentive and professional dining room team, capable of making the experience even more pleasant.
A restaurant that fully deserves its Michelin Star and that I recommend to anyone who wants to experience a refined culinary journey in Catania.

Refined environment but a little neutral and claustrophobic and with a somewhat obvious if not outdated design (I used the low cost red panels when I had few resources to create effective atmospheres). Friendly staff but a little too cold and affected. As regards food: excessive presence of carbohydrates (I eat the bread with oil at home, although it is of excellent quality and the squid ink arancino didn't excite me, it is often found better in street food) and few proteins (in HO scale). The proposed tasting path does not seem coherent to me when moving from one dish to another. Limited wine list with staff who influence (and not advise) your choice. I'm sorry, I may be limited, but I don't see any innovation and the only star rating is the price.

Abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante quasi per caso e, spinti dalla curiosità, siamo entrati per dare un’occhiata. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente dalla gentile padrona di casa e, dopo un breve incontro, abbiamo deciso di prenotare un tavolo per la nostra ultima serata a Catania. E siamo così felici di averlo fatto!
Ogni piatto che abbiamo assaporato è stato una delizia. La qualità del cibo era eccellente e ogni portata ci ha sorpresi con sapori ricchi e raffinati. È stato un vero piacere gustare piatti così ben preparati, e la nostra serata è stata resa ancora più speciale dall'atmosfera accogliente e dal servizio impeccabile.
Non vediamo l'ora di tornare durante il nostro prossimo viaggio a Catania. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante – una delle migliori esperienze culinarie che abbia mai avuto!

Love this place, great concept for the menu, and you can feel their love for food and flavours.
All the different kinds of breads were already a feast, and then each dish was top-quality. Very creative and connected to the local culture.
The recommended wines were super, and the non-alcoholic even better. I would want to motivate you to create a non-alcoholic pairing, it would be a great addition.
The staff is fantastic, keeping the flow going, always tidying the table, and a pleasant personal touch.
The wine list is smartly detailed on the Etna wines, great decision, with enough choices from other regions.
Definitely recommend this place and I also will definitely go back!

An excellent star restaurant with a generous and locally-focused cuisine - there is a suitable story for almost every dish, and the service presents the dishes with pride. The most important thing for me is the creative, versatile patisserie. The restaurant also has a unique interior. The service is very welcoming and attentive.

Serata magnifica in un locale curatissimo; luci soffuse e musica a basso volume. Personale sorridente e sempre pronto. Spiegazioni di ogni piatto accuratissime. Ma soprattutto ... la cena! Una magnificenza. Sapori meravigliosi, connubi inaspettati, presentati in giusta sequenza. Se proprio si volesse trovare un cavillo, dovremmo chiedere perchè mai, per ogni piatto che arriva, ci hanno portato sia la forchetta che il cucchiaio. Ma sono solo stupidaggini. Assolutamente amichevole il consiglio sui vini da abbinare. Prezzi nella norma di queste altezze culinarie. Magnifico. Ci tornerò
