Excellent restaurant in the center, recommended!!

Abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo locale per la bella location, vicino a un’area molto turistica, ma appartato e tranquillo. Bello l’ambiente e gentile il cameriere. Quando siamo entrati, all’ora prenotata, il titolare stava cenando ad un tavolo della sala da pranzo. Siamo stati accolti dal cameriere. Per i nostri gusti i piatti scelti sono stati senza infamia e senza lode, ma adeguati quanto a porzioni e prezzo. Siamo rimasti molto male quando , pur con molti tavoli liberi, il titolare ha rifiutato ospitalità ad una famiglia con due bimbi piccoli, di cui uno nel passeggino, sostenendo che non c’era spazio. A noi è parso che sarebbe bastato spostare una sedia per far posto al passeggino e accomodare la famiglia in un tavolo d’angolo, relativamente appartato. I bambini erano tranquilli e ben gestiti dai genitori. All’esterno del ristorante ho notato un cartello che indica che i cani non sono accettati, ma i bambini? Non torneremo mai in questo ristorante.

I was for dinner. The place is very retro... the waiter is welcoming but is unprepared for the dishes on the menu. Almost empty restaurant, perhaps due to the service offered, perhaps due to the high costs or the very dull area. We took 1 plate of gnocchi with cheese sauce, very good, generous portion. We took 1 plate of bigoli with Venetian-style sardines, which was also very good and had a generous portion. The selection of cheeses is a flaw because the portions are very small despite their quality. The bathroom is very far back and difficult to reach.

Found by chance in an alley in Verona, welcoming owner and kind staff, good typical local food accompanied with Soave wine.. We will be back

Wonderful atmosphere and exquisite food

WONDERFUL FOOD, WHAT A DELICIOUS FOOD! Very beautiful atmosphere, good service, good prices. Only high couvert price. I highly recommend a visit!

Bigoli with Venetian sardines and tagliatelle with duck ragu, both dishes very good, adequate portions (not gourmet), delicate and not heavy Tiramisu, a glass of red wine served a little cold (in my opinion), good level of service , a small oversight that can happen to anyone, promptly resolved. The place is a little out of the way and therefore easier to find a seat. Price appropriate to quantity and quality.

Excellent quality food, presentation needs improvement, excellent service

In Verona one thing is certain, the dishes eaten are very good, the private road where you can have lunch outdoors is very nice!
