Sant'Ambroeus In Milano

My husband and I visited Sant Ambroeus Milano for aperitivo, and it was a truly lovely experience. He ordered a classic Negroni, while I opted for one of their signature cocktails—both were perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive, helpful, and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The aperitivo snacks were both delicious and generous, with a nice variety that complemented our drinks perfectly. As expected from such a high-end establishment, the prices are on the steeper side for Milan, but we felt the experience justified the cost. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and whether you’re sitting outdoors to people-watch or enjoying the chic interior, it’s a great spot to pause and take in the Milanese vibe. We noticed a mix of locals and tourists, which speaks to its appeal across the board. While we didn’t try the full food menu, what we saw being served around us looked excellent. If you’re in Milan and looking for a sophisticated aperitivo experience, Sant Ambroeus is a wonderful choice.

We come here often and really recommend it either for a coffee break or delicious lunch. The Gnudi and lemon pasta are amazing. This time unfortunately the service was not great (as it usually is). It took more than 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive and the waiter was not friendly or caring at all.

Después de viajar más de 24 horas y soportar retrasos en los vuelos, llegamos a Milán. Nuestro conserje sugirió Sant Ambroeus para la cena. Fue una noche maravillosa, hecha de esa manera en gran parte por hora servidor, Reisen que proporcionó un excelente servicio y sugerencias. Disfrutamos de cada parte de nuestra comida, incluyendo el vino que nos sugirieron, no tuvimos prisa y nos ayudaron a facilitar un taxi al final. La comida estaba bien preparada y presentada, y disfrutamos de todo lo que conseguimos desde el curso antipasto hasta el desierto (estuvimos llenos, pero Reisen sugirió un pequeño bocado y eso fue perfecto). La gestión también fue útil y esto hizo que fuera una noche encantadora después de una dura aventura de viaje.

I went a few weeks ago for a brunch to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere of the place is beautiful, tables are tidy and well-kept. The staff is exceptional, smiling, kind and attentive. We ordered pancakes with fruit and a delicious French toast with panettone and chantilly cream: out of this world. The only thing I didn't like too much was the matcha latte but nothing tragic. To conclude the brunch the waiter who welcomed us also brought us a cake with a candle to celebrate which was really appreciated. I definitely want to go back for dinner or lunch!

This place is incredible. Food was lovely and service was impeccable. They brought us some lovely dark chocolate after dinner as well. Really wonderful experience.
