Absolutely recommended gluten-free pasticceria. Both the pastries and coffee were delicious. We could enjoy things while sitting in the nice outdoor seating area, which is located on a walkway slightly elevated from the wide and relatively quiet street. Special mention for the fluffy sponge cake which was amazing; the croissant was nice and dense and could be filled upon demand with chocolate, jam or custard. Friendly personnel who kindly spoke in English to us to explain a couple of things.

Finally, a wonderful place to go and eat delicious food, all gluten- and lactose-free. The place is very cute, very clean, and the staff is incredibly kind. Even the infusions and herbal teas are exceptional, everything carefully selected. Thank you, Giorgio, and everyone who created and runs a place where a person like me with health issues can feel happy and have the difficulty of choosing among so many delicious things. I'm joking, of course. Usually, in other places, I find little to choose from. Matilde... I'd give you 1,000 stars.

It is a wonderful place with a very good selection. Clean and nice. Very good service. Coffee well presented and the taste is superb. Very good "toasts" with plenty of toppings.

We were very impressed after our visit. Delicious cakes and the coffee was first class in both taste and presentation. The place is fresh and nice. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Thank you with all my heart for your welcome

Da esperta non posso che fare i complimenti. Frolla e sfoglia profumate, delicatissime, friabili, non troppo dolci e senza alcun retrogusto fastidioso di fibre o addensanti. Nessuna differenza al palato con i migliori dolci glutinosi. Prezzi anche questi "normali". Buona la caffetteria e il personale estremamente cordiale e cortese. Per un turista direi che è una tappa obbligatoria. Continuate così

10/10/2025: The service was friendly and welcoming – a bit inattentive at times, but they took it well when you made them aware of it. The place is tucked away behind a church, like a little oasis, with both charming indoor nooks and lovely outdoor seating. Their gnocchi alla Sorrentina is absolutely top-notch: small, soft pieces of potato pasta in spicy tomato sauce and covered in creamy cheese – a dish that really hits the spot. The carbonara is also delicious, rich and made with respect for tradition. And the Neapolitan pizzas? Crispy, airy and topped with high-quality ingredients that taste fresh and authentic. All in all, a place we will definitely return to next time we are in Rome.
10/10/2025: I’ve had the most amazing food from Origano. I’m vegan and was worried about finding somewhere to eat in Rome. But I thankfully discovered this restaurant on my second day and I’ve eaten here 4 days in a row. The food is unbelievable and I’ve not had a better lasagne ever. There are several choice for starters / appetisers, also for mains and deserts. My favourites have been the bruschetta, vegan lasagne and vegan tiramisu. The place was always busy with Italians and tourists. And both meat eaters and veggies / vegans. Both inside and outside are great and the service is fantastic. They were amazing and patient with me while I practised my Italian. I’m 100% coming back again

12/10/2025: We come to this Ethiopian restaurant in Piazza Bologna very often and we love it! The atmosphere is truly authentic, with attention to detail, and it immediately immerses you in the African atmosphere. The waitresses are also Ethiopian and very friendly, making everything even more authentic. The dishes are flavorful and unique, especially the meat and vegetable dish, truly delicious, served on injera bread. But a thousand points go to their chickpea cream, shirò, and their tuntumu (lentils). The fried appetizers filled with meat and lentils are also a discovery: crispy, tasty, and perfect for starting dinner. There's a wide selection of wines, too. A place I absolutely recommend if you want to try something different and authentic!
12/10/2025: Excellent food and dining experience. Definitely worth returning.
