It is perhaps one of those shops where you will find locals eating and not tourists, which personally for me is something very good, the atmosphere reminds you of another, more romantic era, the staff is really kind, the only minus is the portions, which as I understood in the following days is something common in all their shops, they are small and certainly not proportional to the money you pay, but again as I said, in the end it is something common that all the restaurants have, at least in the city center.

Traditional dishes without much effort. Prices are certainly cheap but €1.50 per person + we were served a liter of water (€3) when we had only asked for half a liter (€1.50). Nice but not very good quality. The tomatoes to accompany the dishes in salad were not fresh

A tavern near the cathedral, with friendly service, homemade food, and a very good price. We ate there without a reservation and had no problems at all. Highly recommended.

Despite being in the center of the bustling city of Milan, this "tavern" offers a quiet meal in an old-fashioned atmosphere. The rooms aren't crowded with tables, allowing for a good distance between them. The prices are reasonable, even considering the proximity to Piazza del Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where prices can be quite high. I also liked the service.
The only drawback was the fettucine with wild boar ragu (minced meat), which could have had a bit more flavor (I had to sprinkle it with more Parmesan cheese than usual), but I don't want to be unfair, as I didn't try any other main courses.

Best Risotto alla Milanese I had in Milan!
This charming and beautifully decorated restaurant stole my heart. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service impressively fast. The prices are quite reasonable too. A true gem in Milan.
definitely worth a visit if you’re craving authentic risotto in a cozy setting.

Este restaurante en realidad se llama Taberna San Tomaso y al principio, estaba preocupado porque no tienen un sitio web - - solo una página de Facebook, lo que me indica que tal vez no era un restaurante establecido.
Pero nos sorprendió gratamente - es un fantástico y auténtico restaurante italiano con la comida tradicional milanesa que estaría buscando. Tuvimos la mejor burrata con prosciutto aquí, seguido de delicioso risotto y tagliatelle boloñesa.
El servicio fue muy amable y la experiencia en general fue genial!
